Then how is he supposed to level? Since quest are the only viable way to gain a decent amount of XP. Grinding is hardly a rewarding alternative.
Many hotfixes ago, the increased the XP off mobs which made grinding the mission terminal way (pre-nge style) just as fast as questing.
Having said that, the Legacy quests do become more interesting once you get to Corellia. Also, if you're still on the starter station, the quests there are more introductory to the game. If you've had experience with the game or other MMO's before then yes, they're probably going to seem mundane.
You have played for TWO hours. The quests actually get pretty decent once you get into some themeparks, once on corellia almost every legacy quest was fun for me...
And grinding is pretty efficient in this game... Sidenote: Excluding Questi-bear mmogs like EQ2 or WoW, almost any mmog relies on mobgrinding...
The trial plays nothing like the game. I dunno why SOE even put that trial out. They should have put a trial out that allows you to play the full game for a set number of days so that you could get a better feel for the game.
Don't listen to the SWG fanbois. The quests will improve, however, it will be similar to what you are experiencing now. The game is extremely buggy. Probably more buggy then any game I've played recently. The game will be fun if you love all SW content and just want to experience everything. However, the game does not have as much content as other MMORPGs coming out or currently out.
I'm not one of the complainers over the CU and NGE. I understand why such changes took place. To put it simple the game is not all that good. Notice the low rating... You can't expect too much with SWG so don't play it if your a hard-core MMORPG gamer because you won't get that content. I know the fanbois will attack me, but this isn't even an opinion anymore, it is a clear fact for anyone that has experience in the gaming industry.

That's how the trial works now :P
Yeah the trial that he is playing on is the game itself not the crappy space station. Yes the trial is very similar to the game.

In my humble opinion of course.

yes it is, its just boring to do alone.
The quests will not get better, just the same stuff... Kill 10 mobs here kill a boss there. Really boring and I think my IQ gets lower with each quest
