How greedy is SOE?

Ok I had a year off break from SWG and decided I wanted to try it out again to see this new fighting style...well just after about 5 minutes of reseting my account I realised they had almost doubled the amount they charge for this game, why, there is no one on now...tuesdays are a wash due to this server maint...and what happens afterwards...the servers dont run right...and now that no one is on the vendors are empty...lots of empty houses out there just sucking up spots where quests end now...good job devolpers...at what point will they just say I give and realise without us paying this ridulous charge they are charging us for all their products they are nothing???

Unless you have a Station Access account, the fee is still the same $15 a month.
lol and I thought 15.00 was to much for that game...

They actually should pay people to play it at this point.
At least that way people would be in game to make it look busy.

It's the same price it's always been: 15.00 bucks. Unless you have station pass, then its somewhere in the neighborhood of 21.99, I believe.
BTW, what makes SOE greedy? The fact that they don't offer the game for free, or that they *gasp* are out to make money? Isn't that what ALL companies do? Make money? They aren't a charity case.

A greedy company would try to maximize profits. SOE seem to be
trying to maximize losses. I would call SOE "an extremely poor
investment choice" rather than a "greedy company".
"Greedy companies" that try to maximize profits are what keep you in a job, unless you work for yourself. If that's the case (you working for yourself), do you work for free? Donate your profit to charities?
Tell you what. Since you're anti-greed/anti-profit/anti-money, every month, send me what's left of your paycheck(s) after paying your bills/food/etc.

I'm fully pro-maximizing profits. It is the purpose of any for
profit business enterprise. I was simply pointing out that SOE
can't be accused of being "greedy" based on the fact that everything
they do seems to be an attempt to lose more money. As pro-prifit
person, I also pointed out that SOE would be a very poor
investment choice, unless you want to lose money.
Same here. $15 per month as usual.

I am a greedy bugger, and I love it, also SOE need all the money they can get out of the game as that is what they do. If they improve the game and give it time unfortunatly people that have never heard of the game before will atleast try it out for a month or two and some will stay, this some will grow bigger, probably enough to keep it viable for them to keep it running, but nothing to what it used to be. My hope is that it will die, but I think it is wishful thinking on my part.
Ow and as a side note, 5 of those houses and a cantina on Farstar EU that are bloking your mission ending's are mine lol
