Beastman Seals

in Final Fantasy XI

Are the Beastman Seals I keep collecting off of Orcs worth anything or can I toss 'em? I got like 2 stacks taking up space and have found no missions or uses for 'em.

    You use Beastmen's Seals for BCNMs, which I believe are available at level 20, on up in 10 level increments. You use them at certain places (though I can't remember where, it's been 2 years since I last played) in order to initiate notorious monster battles for nice loot. Each BCNM requires the same number of seals as they max level for the BCNM (so the level 20 quest would require you to use 20 Seals). I'd save them. If you can find a good group to do them with, the BCNMs can be extremely profitable and give you some very nice equipment to use. I know it sucks to have so many of them though. One thing FFXI never has enough of-- inventory space.

    Heh, glad to help. I recall doing the lvl 20 one with 3 insanely hard bats back before I quit. It was actually a lot of fun, even though I think we only won once out of 3 times. They take a lot of strategy and planning, particularly the lower level ones that don't allow for a full party of 6.

    And thanks Tekaki. When I start playing again that will make my life a lot eaiser. ^_^ Already bookmarking links that will lead me and my friends to quests and other things to do besides the ever present grind.

    That was Wings of Fury, drops the Astral ring now. Its really easy doing it with 2 Beastmasters becuase they can Charm the little bats and have them fight the Bigger one.

    you keep the seals cuz later on you can get special quests from
    them.  Just put the seals in your Mog storage, thats a big storage
