Does CoH/CoV have an endgame yet?

I would post this on the official Coh/Cov forums, but you have to have an active account to post.  My question is to any current players of the game or anyone who is following the game right now... does it have an endgame yet?  I left the game just as CoV was being introduced.  The PvE was incredibly fun, but other than that I felt like there was no motivation to do it because once you got to level 50 there was nothing else to do.  On top of that the PvP class balance was terrible.  Has anything changed since then?  Any info. given on the topic is appreciated, thanks.

No endgame yet. If you like straight pvping its not too bad in terms of stuff to do after 50 but there really is no end game at the moment. Issue 9 is introducing the Inventions System which is supposed to be a big part of the end-game and it will be starting the new expansions content. They cancelled the boxed expansion and instead are spreading its content over several issues (9, 10, 11) next year, it will have a progressive storyline so theres that.  But all of it is a little ways off (early next year).
