I havn't posted on this thread yet, because I've been hoping it'll just get pushed down. But since it got bumped recently I'm gonna say this.
LET THE THREAD DIE. The question's been more than answered, and the points been more than made, so quit bumping this thread. If anyone doesn't understand why there's a monthly fee involved with playing an mmorpg, then they're niave to the whole 'buisness' concept. Someone has to pay the employees that work on these games, where do you think that money comes from? Magical pay-check ferries? I also doubt most, if any one at all, here knows all the exact figures involved $$ wise in any game company. Most of the figures you ppl are throwing out there are so obviously made up.
I'm gonna cut this short, in hopes you'll take yer time to post on another thread instead.
