They cancel shows that suck, aka Farscape and Firefly. Farscape got so freakin wierd and retarded towards the end it was barely watchable.
Firefly had a similar hardcore base, but it was horribly boring . also the cast was pretty much crappy, and generic. Guess the buffy teenage crap writing era is over.
It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

Farscape, I'll agree with. Any show that has a glove puppet as a main character isn't worthy of my viewing.
But Firefly?! It was a work of sheer genious, it's unbeleivable that it only ran for 1 series, when it had such a massive cult following. The film was absolutely awesome aswell.

You sir, are a philistine. Now back to your reality TV before your brain wakes from its slumber.

I loved farscape, currently trying to scratch together enough cash to get the dvds. It was great how it didn't follow the conventional sci-fi root of putting humans at the top of the tree. It was the only other series than B5 where I would watch every single episode.
farscape was one of the besttv shows i've ever seen..
I dearly miss it But i also understand why they had to cancel it.
It was still the most acclaimed sci-fi show at the time... But budgets balooned and ratings couldn't keep up
i still love it though
What's your Wu Name? Donovan --> Wu Name = Violent Knight Methane47 --> Wu Name = Thunderous Leader "Some people call me the walking plank, 'cuz any where you go... Death is right behind you.." <i>ME<i>
You havent watched alot of sci-fi apparently. There's alot of sci fi where humans arent at the top of the tree. Babylon 5, Galactica which is running right now lol, Star trek Enterprise , Star Gate, list goes on.

B5 - humans save the galaxy by uniting the waring races.
Galactica - Ok they're not top, but there are only 2 races and guess what, the cylons want to be human.
Enterprise - I'll give you enterprise, only because I never watched it. Stopped with star trek after DS9.
Stargate - Humans kicking alien ass with just mp5s and duck tape. Kinda like a futuristic A-team.... (ok thats a little over the top but you get the point)
In Farscape we were exactly where we would be, bottom of the pile. The main character was very intelligent by our standards. Yet compared to a basic Sebation Pilot he was thick as two short planks. it was only due to circumstance that he ended up with the knowlege to create a wormhole weapon.
Babylon 5 humans were weaklings compared to other races. It was more of a human uniting the races, but I guess you want to spin it so it fits whatever. Hell if not for that soul thing humans would have gotten totally annihilated in the war prior to the beginning of the series. (souls of their enemy races were apparently reincarnating as humans or somthing I forget, which saved the race)
SG-1 - Humans are up there right above guys with spears compared to the other folks. I think someone forgets that if not for the Asgard humans would have been destroyed in ep 1 or aroudn then
Galactica, psylons wanting to be human doesnt mean humans are on top at all. Humans = refugees, Robots on top.
Enterprise = no need to watch it, humans are riding around on their one starship, saving the universe, but it wouldnt be a series if it was otherwise.
It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.
