SWG PRE-CU.
What the current devs don't understand is that for many just being in the star wars galaxies was fun. It was a social place to meet others with the same interest and be part of the star wars universe.
Alot of people enjoyed the social aspect of just being a regular joe making his way through the galaxy. You could have your own business, make your own things, hang out at the cantina, heal people in the med center.
I was a doc pre-cu. I really enjoyed helping and healing people. I found it great having a need and purpose in the game. I enjoyed listening to the adventures and tales some had.
You could explore the galaxy and take a break from the adventure. Set up camp enjoying the scenery while socializing and keeping safe.
The current devs stripped all the social aspect of the game and turned it into just a game.
The old game had so much potential. It appealed to a wide player base. People who just wanted to be in the starwars universe and those looking for more of a game as well.
Why was there such a need to strip the social aspect in order to create content and action of the game? Could not have both been acheivable?
Please bioware if you are making the new SWG MMO. Please be a true MMO. A MMO that is more than just a game but a community.
