How do the levels scale?

Back when EverQuest was capped at 65 the saying went "Once you hit 50, you are halfway to 65". No idea what level it's capped at now..probably in the thousands based on how many expansions they release.

In any case, how do the levels scale in WoW? Does leveling 1-30 seem like a walk in the park from 30-40? Does 40-50 seem like a golden era for those that suffered through 50-60? Just curious, my days are pretty filled with babies, wife assigned chores and dogs but I wouldn't mind a bit of non-tv related entertainment just so long as the carrot on the end of the stick isn't too far out of reach.

hmm level 30 is 70k or so of exp, level 48 is around 140-150k of exp. It isn't too harsh as some instances give some good exp.

Levelling in World of Warcraft is easy. EQ was much more "hardcore".
I'd say somewhere in the 40-45 range you're about half way to 60.
Either way, players can go from 55 to 60 in like a day or two.
That'd never happen for 60-65 in old school EQ >_>
