CoH contest

I seen a lot of people posting about CoH.  And most of them probably signed up for the contest.  But does the amount of stars raise your chances of winning?  And who do you think will win?

Hard to say Storm, and i dont know if stars raise your chances to getting in. Frankly i am not to worried about getting into beta anymore, i am just haveing fun posting in these forums ^_^.

But none the less i did sign up cause the contest, and i would love to get into beta...so...yeah...its a double whammy.

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

the chance of winning beta depends on a few things, 1) how many people sign up, 2) how many people come back each and every day and enter for another chance (yes each time you visit the CoH contest site is another chance to win, Only 1 per day tho) and 3) damnit I better make it!

 

but it's not  based on stars, or how long you've had a forum name. I think =

Yep thats about right. It's in no way based on stars or the duration of membership. Only thing is the rate of entrys per day is different and there is a max.

yah... I think the max was a derived number coming out to "5" some how...

 

 err.. every so many log-inns equils an extra chance... yada yada yada.... and yup... 5 chances..

   The amount of stars you have does not have an effect on the number of drawings entered for you in the contest. Here's how it works:

  The first time you enter the contest, you are entered once into a random drawing. For every five days you log on prior to the drawing, you are entered an additional time. Once you hit a maximum of five entries (including the first), you may no longer gain additional drawings (until the next contest of course ). Please note that a login only counts once a day, so if you log in twenty times in one day, it will not enter you 4 more times .
