EQ Players...

Heya.

  There have been two times that I've tried to play EQ2, never making it past 2 months either time.

  I was just wondering what ya'll thought about this.

  If you've played EQ2 did or do you find the majority of players beyond moronic and very annoying? The game was fun to me except for the constant annoyance of the players. Since you HAVE to party up to do anything they are a required to deal with them. None of my online or "RL" friends played it more than 2-3 months either.

We all came from UO many years ago, where you could kill anyone who was a whiner/punk in theory. I think that's been the primary issue. That and can't steal from players or break into their house!

    What do you mean you have to group? I rarely ever group because I don't like groups. You have to do as the group does and that's totally worthless. You don't have to group unless you want to. It's just easier to level when you have a group. I prefer it solo.

    I find the community on EQ2 to be by far one of the most mature and respectful that I've ever come across.

    actually i find EQIIs community to b one of the most mature group of individuals that ive ever played an online game with.  ive only been in one party in game since i started playing the game and never had any problems soloing things.  and frankly if u think uve seen a immature group of ppl, play a f2p game for about 2 or 3 wks, b active on the forums and then come back and tell us about immaturity.

    edit:  also eqii is about the friendliest community that ive ever come across.

    Second that, EQ2 has the most sensible and mature community in any MMO ive played.

    As far a soloing, as mentioned above you dont have to group.  Sure there are thing you cant do without groups, such as heritage quests but it doesnt stop you from levelling at all.  At lvl 68 ive probably soloed 90% of the time.
