Cleric Quest Question

Ok,

I just downloaded the free version.  Looks kinda fun.  I run into the hall and accept the job of being a cleric and then go in the back room and kill the monster 4 times.  The quest log shows Im still 01 in killing the mob and completing the quest.  Is this quest bugged.

Also it says I need to scribe my spell in a spell book.  Do you start with one?  or do I get it by completing the broken quest =(

when you greet the cleric trainer he'll ask if you want to join the school, when you join the school you'll get 1 spell, the spell will appear as a scroll in your inventory, right click on it and select scribe, then go to Knowledge/Spells and drag it onto a hotkey bar for easy use. The trainer will also give you a quest, to kill a monster in the back room. Equip a wep, go into the backroom, kill the monster, go back and greet the trainer again, and now you are lvl 2, well done. I think the first spell is a minor heal, so it'll be useless against the monster, but you'll easily kill it with a club anyway.

I also had a problem once with the mage quest, when there was no monster to kill after accepting the quest.

Even if you find this is bugged, don't worry because it doesn't matter, just go off into the real world and you'll level quickly and easily anyway. This quest is just a tutorial thing really.
