It's a half-finished bar. Yes it is in game. It's hand-drawn/airbrush. I also use the burn/dodge tool. My forum has 8 more screens. I'm still working on getting better, why is it that bad?
Well, let me tell you that the graphics are still a work in progress. I'm aiming for a Legend of Mana look
As you can see, wacky graphics. But I'm still learning how to do it. I've only made 9 screens and believe it or not, I have gotten better. The screen of mine in my first post isn't complete yet. I hope everyone realizes that.
And if any one of you wants to join my forum, I'd appreicate it. I guess I need a critic, because everyone else told me they were good.

I don't really like to put people down like this, but you will not be able to get close to that example unless you devote som serious time in studying color theory and art in general. Also; dodge and burn tool are traps that a lot of people fall into when using Photoshop.
On a less negative note, I'm very happy to see people trying to contribute to the mmorpg scene... However I firmly believe some standards have to be met before even announcing the existence of a game.
I think you rushed the news on this one. You could have a lot more fun creating a game in secrecy for a while, than jumping head first into a forum that would merit you comments such as this.
I wouldn't say that dodge/burn is a trap. I have seen alot of graphics tutorials where it's just filled it, and dodge/burned and it looks just as good as the Mana screen.
And I understand that I should only post when I have a actual game together, but I do need people to know that in 2 weeks a beta will be out. We are just trying to get different views on the engine and the graphics, so when we work to make a fully working game, we can put into account what everyone thinks.

That, and the logo doesn't convey or fit the game at all. Usually an art 'scheme' helps convey your idea more.

Good luck, though.
