I have said a lot of really bad things about you, Perhaps you seen one of my videos?

But Now I want to help you. I had no idea all the terrible things I wished on the NGE would come to pass.

I know its NGE FTW ........but Damn you Smed have you no vision man.

Look at the MMO market right now what 80 billion playing WOW. Man that's a lot of people but try to think of it like this. WOW is a MMO training game producing millions of MMO semi savvy peeps looking to pop off the training wheels and play a real game. This should of been your model.............

Not only is it a realistic goal it fits the core of the existing SWG. Should of made commercials targeting peeps bored with WOW ....there's a whole lot of.

Ok Lets more on a lot to talk about.
 
I am going to list my experiences and what SWG was to me and why. Im sure you have heard it all before. Im not a Game designer but I do have a good Idea of what's fun and why. Ill go into some things I speculate are easy fixes....so no Hoth suggestions here.

Who am I?  Im a retired 33 year old male living off stock investments. Im married with one Five year old Girl.

As a child I had a atari , coleco vision and activision wasn't big on games to much. One day I played Kings Quest on a buddies IBM PC J.R. "To Heir Is Human" this was the most intelligent game out at the time, Other that text. OMFG Throw cheese at rat. Look under rock. Climb tree. I loved it ended up playing all of the Sierra Quest Series.

No SWG for you .........2 Years

Im a moderate Star Wars Fan but did not get SWG at launch instead Two years later, Reason was a buddy told me it was to buggy and released broke ECT. I didn't know much about MMOs so took his word for it and there completely forgot it existed until one day on Usenet Newsgroups I found a Trail my computer then was not a powerhouse but ok. Well I logged in as a brawler at first and was totally lost(my first MMO) beat up a womprat or got beat up forgot but was.........unimpressed.

So I redo my charector this time ,I figure Star Wars, so Id do a pistoleer. I spawned in Mos Eisley and was so impressed after a week I built a computer just to run this one game. I kick myself now for listening to him but that the power of word of mouth.

In those two years, I saw not one commercial for SWG. Only ones I saw were the ones for the NGE or the CU ....whatever

The Major change I think I have the cure for is the balancing of all classes in one small root change.
( Redo Ranged and Melee damage migration or just make it even across classes, To me it seems this is why ranged sucked and melee ruled give everyone a pistoleers damage migration and complaints about Uber comp and overpowered buffs stop. This way only one set of base numbers need changed and no secondary and affects all classes equally, only negative effect I can foresee is tanking will be a lot harder but that seems to be more a positive)  this would result in rise to ranged classes but keep melee just as effective in pvp.

I say, where did your helper droid learn to communicate it has the most peculiar dialect

My biggest problem learning to play was a total lack of gameplay info. My helper droid was good at poping out at at bad times but Wasnt helpful after total nooblet. I was clueless on just about all items whats good whats bad stats. Cant remember what it lacked except a lot. Only real way to learn the game was to ask and a lot of people were helpful. But felt Like I was harrassing people at times and I know I looked like total ass from my ignorance countless.

So I have to conclude for you to say that SWG .....to haaaard, Id have to disagree, I would agree complex and interesting, but Its just plain wrong to sell a complex product with install instructions and call them (implied morons).

Hell to go further, I got a $25.00 Trainer locator, formally known as a stratagy guide, even my helper droid laughted at me for that one.

This is your Quest should you choose to accept it

Personally ....I hate quest, Id just assume kiss a wookie. But some people do like em and Id do them too, if it was worth it. My faorite Precu quest was getting a vial of the DWBs Overlords blood after all the damn trouble you think a cool item.....70 imp faction..... Sweeeet vontage.

But never should leveling promote the player to be in solitude, or offer items better than crafted. I liked the dragon skull and bol skull ect. I think best quest item would be a single stack of a uber resource spawn and be unrepeatable unless reward changes resource type and not a huge mount a fair amount so it dont hurt economy or create influx of UBER items.

I'll Bet every Precu player could tel you about their first peice of armor. Took me along time and till then it was a very scary place for me....took me a week or to just to get the nerve to leave Eisley.
But remember this is a MMO SWG its not the kessel run. It takes awhile to learn the game and nothing lets you know your place in the galaxy like a krettle chasing you 100 meters right in front of a group of hot tweilk chicks. Hows that for a hero! But some day theyll be out killing NS picturing that damn krettles face on em... uuuhhh Well I tring to say the more you give the less they earn.

somehow I dont see people talking about that npc that dropped a suit of armor after 4 shots.

Some of my and many others best times were our noob dayz. Those big hunts went bad and left our group slaughtered, usually in a funny way and group chats all WTF happened ...LOL. Your actually robbing them of the games experience some of the best ones this snowballs because its these same memories that have Vets posting about NGE daily. and keeps alot playing subs so they can log in and move thier furniture around. Look at all this I am doing all cuz I know that damn krettle is somewhere with a smug look on his face.

 NGE really offers a all round completely empty game experience nobody cares about anything really nd as soon as something better presents itself *poof*

OMG!  Quick anyone got a fire blanket..... ,"uh a what"....spams heal

States were a big game mechanic fires burned desiese sickened, fighting hurt you and tired you out. "But that stupid doc is healing the guy doing jumping jacks." YES, this was a problem and could really piss a black barred warrior down.

I propose in addition to med healing that receiving a buff would also heal all secondarys youd still need to lower BF from a entertainer first. States had a big role in game and gave downtime for a little R&R

OK no brainer dont have a pool that cant be healed if they arent all equal then soon everyone is attacking that one pool. Be great for different heals of equal values based on items used but if its not equal then its getting attacked(this applies to life and everything in game)

Imagine If money had no value in the real world....we would weight 300 lbs and play WOW all day

SWG had a great economy people needed credits and had to come up with a way to get em this also helped define a person. Some peoples soul goal was based on the size of their wad.
It motivated everyone crafters would have to compete a sweet loot would make you gasp.

The game is lost without a Player controled economy

OK Jedis are just stupid as a starting profession. (but everyone wants to be one) OH and thats is exactly the problem.

Personally I think Jedi need to be in game. It is star wars  but need to be unlocked like before and also need to be better controlled. Perma death seems kinda harsh. Cuz I think BH need better resources to compete "see down one" I think jedi should still earn their uber with equipment and not for killing pikes. I was a pistoleer for 2 years I threw away 2x xp to go jedi and had some of the best weapons on my server"BRIA" But 80% saber block and total lack of melee defence made me a Jedi whiping boy. Its BS when a skill given for grinding outmatches years of hard work collecting and making your equipment. Id like to see a jedi matched evenly with a Uber BH But would take BH and long time to get Uber and Rare.

Seems like someone actually went out of their way to make this as unrealistic as possible.

BH spots jedi throws down his armor and slips into a grey sweatsuit pops is knuckels and runs up to Jedi and pops him one. Jedi beats him over head with LS.........Weeee

UM NO! BH needs a suit of armor that is profession specific and LS resistant layers of various qualities need to drop, along with parts to made addons to suit to counter jedi abilities like a Cloak detector that gives % of cloak break based on quality of item. also make the jetpack have a BH special with it. nothing game breaking just something that looks cool.

Im not sue what your plans are for SWG ior if anything can save it now but if I can help let me know and Ill do what I can.

But please do something at this point it appears as if you are just breaking SWG to spite us and we worry when you stick to plans that are proven to not makes money

i think LA should be keeping a record of all of these player ideas for the next sw mmo, Players often think outside of the box and have great ideas. At soe i see maybe only 2 guys coming up with cool ideas, if that. Some ideas are hard to create but, time makes everything easier.
