A loot based game.

There is only one reason to that you are raiding, you get eq.

This is a loot based game. And that is what end game is in WOW, LOOT and 3 retarded pvp areas.

Content is pathetic, like 3 raid instances if you have pretty good gear?

Heck, soon there will be tier 38.

There is an ending, If ppl comes with tier 38 and a nub with green gear
on 60, shouldent that tier 38 guy be so uber to one hit him?

See where this is going? An endless line of raiding for good gear.

Loot based game?

As I've said on another post, the very end of online games consists of the social ties. People are reluctant to leave what's been their home for so long, but like the console games of old, you win and move on. Just tell your friends, guild, or others (enemies) to come with you to another MMO.

Firstly, i hope that your a WoW player, because what i'm gonna tell you, will definitely leave a non-WoW player puzzled. And since ur a critic on WoW, let me be frank, if you dont play it, u could just keep your mouth shut.

Secondly, tiers aren't that easy to make, it took blizzard nearly 2 years just to come up with 3 tiers, do u think its that easy coming up with more advanced and attractive gear?

Thirdly, WoW isn't all loot. It's all game.

Sadly, i pity that you can't understand the uberness of green 60s either, seeing that I could own tier 2 warriors with a green mage. 1v1 or not, i can beat them, but their gay in duels. :)

World of Warcraft is a based RPG game. Role-playing games are mainly there for you to pick a certain role/class/job and carry out the task that you were supposed to be doing.

Raids make WoW more interesting. How? Raids are there for players to conquer, so they can get nicer items and better gear and also show off to other guilds that, hey, i've downed C'Thun, and he's dropped this and this and that.
See how that makes you a more proud guild? Other players with GREENS that see your players wearing epics will then start sending in recruitment/applications to your guild forum and soon your guild can expand.

However, WoW doesn't just end here, this is where the fun comes in. PvPing. In WoW, the fun isn't in KILLING THE MOBS. It's in KILLING THE PLAYERS. The part where your a mage and hunting the stupid shaman healing himself and tanking 5 mobs at a go. You run out, PoM and pyroblast his ass to eternity without drawing aggro of the 5 mobs. That's the fun of WoW, you can kill people while they're dying, fighting, or rather just doing anything, fishing, mining, whatever it is. Sadly you can't kill them when they're fighting Ragnaros/Nefarion/Chrom.

Anyway, it still doesn't stop here !!!

I've mentioned dueling and such? Well, GET BETTER GEAR AND OWN YOUR OWN GUILD MATES! Challenge one another once in a while to get better gear and duel each other to compare and improve your skills, or just head down to a battleground and play around with the silly mages or warlocks running up and down, personally, i love killing mages, and i bet they love killing me too. Anyway, i know that it's possible for anybody to kill anybody, a lvl 1 can kill a lvl 60, but it probably will take him about 2 weeks or so. Maybe less :) And you just need a heal from a priest to make the lvl 1 cry.

So good luck exploring WoW, and stop whining bout the game (being not fun) . I'll bet that if your the game creator of WoW or another game, people will not even bother with you. So don't complain.

WoW is a giant arms race, the sooner you get used to that, the sooner you can enjoy the game.

Suchs things as socialce and roleplaying dose not exist in wow, very little on the acctual rp servers also

And yes i have a 60 paladin with epics, and done alot of the higer instances.

    Make new eq?

What the heck, design some new.

The thing is they are trying to slow down everything by hard grinding for rep points, cause they know its this way and the loot based system is going to fail some day.

    Its so obviouse.

btw, you just agreed the only thing you can do is raid and pvp. and when you got the best gear, you dont even raid, and pvp will get boring, trust me.

Give me a good example of a game that isn't loot based?
(There are a few, EVE online is more skill/equipment based)

    Most games are equipment based.

I think that what will be done right in BC is that there will be shorter instances for 5 mans, and the larger raid dungeons are only 25 man. Plus you'll be able to go back and do the 5 or 10 mans at a greater difficulty.
This will still be loot based, but it eliminates the amount of time you have to spend in instances.
I really hate getting 39 other people ready and focused for 3+ hours. Someone always looses connection, or goes to the bathroom in the middle of a fight. Not to mention the "Sorry my Mom said I had to logoff"...

I think WoW is like a box of chocolates, not everyone likes the raspberry butter creame. For those that hate it, they'll spit it out and say yuck. There are some people that like the whole box, and some that complain that they wanted pie instead.

    Alright people, look it up.

World of Warcraft is not the only popular MMORPG out there.

If you enjoy paying Blizzard every month for the same dish, that's your call. I say happiness is worth any price. I'm just telling you how it was for me. Just my humble opinion, lit up on the www.

I say take a couple of months to try other games. Burning Crusade may come out in January, it may not. Why even waste your time trying to get ANY level 60 gear when you'll need a whole new set of level 70 gear? In fact, don't even try to rationalize your behavior.

gear should help in the game thats one thing wow did right...but its too much

gear means = people have worked hard to get the gear might as well be awarded for it but..

blizzard over did it i must agree

if someone 60 in greens comes accross even a tier 1 wearer theres pretty much no possible way to beat him unless that tier 1 wearer was a hardcore nub ><

    imagine a green wearing 60 vs a tier 3 wearer :O
