is it true about blizzard buying runescape?

There is a rumor going around about blizzard wanting to buy runescape I was wondering if this was true or not?
My math is probably off but i think RS gets 50+million dollars per month.

I havent heard anything of the sort and I highly doubt it.  And runescape being a free game, I dont think they make 50 mil a month.  Sure they have a few paying players and I could be wrong but its hard to imagine runescape making that much a month.

i dont think RS gets 50+mill a month they only have about 1million members $5 a month 5mill a month so around 60million a year AROUND but they also have different games that they make so you never know and its a England game so i don't know the diffent currency exchange but they make alot a year lol lets keep it like that.

But i think that Ja3eX won't sell it because of changes they think blizzard will make but would be cool to hear more of this

If Blizzard were to buy runescape this is what they would do. Keep the game going as it is and add a super update for members and a smaller one for freebies. Then they would probally just work on making Runescape with C++ probally. So then people would have to download so it wouldnt be broswer based. Thus making it with the good graphics everyone is looking for and skyboxes. Because at Blizzard  they have mad good artisits. Then Runescape would probally be popular because it would be enhanced alot.

Why this may not be true.

IDK if the guy who though of Runescape wants to get rid of his dream idea so easily. And I dont think Blizzard would waste their time although, it could give them a huge boost in money, since the dedicated paying members already. There are alot beleive me.

I think it's highly unlikely that Blizz would ever buy RS from Jagex.

But if they do they should really make some major gfx changes and game-play changes to get me playing it again.

Maybe Blizzard feels a sense of duty to gamers and will buy RS just to shut it down and put it out of our misery

Blizzard buying RuneScape, are you serious!? LOL, Blizzard is currently working on StarCraft 2, like most people know. Anyway, RuneScape could use some good updates which Blizzard should do when the game was theirs.

Yeh, RS is boring....the graphics are ugly and gay, and just the tutorial part, which p*sses me off.
