Wats going on???

i just tried to play KOL and when it was "checking for updates" it said it could'nt connect to the server. Thel i try to goto the website to troubleshoot the matter (after messing with my connection and serveral more attempts to play) but IE and Mozilla couldn't open the web page. Can some one please tell me WTF is going on and if it's my fault how i can fix
