Age of Conan, skill based directional combat and a non politically-correct world were plenty enough to grab my attention.
No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee. Hemingway
Ragnarok Online 2. When it comes to offering player customization, the original had more headgear variations then some games had total player customization, and the second is doing this with every piece of equipment.
Pirates of the Burning Sea is my last hope for MMO's, if it ever comes out. Im pondering getting The Burning Crusade, but as time ticks im starting to forget about it.
"There's no star system Slave I can't reach, and there's no planet I can't find. There's nowhere in the Galaxy for you to run. Might as well give up now." Boba Fett
I'm waiting for Ragnarok Online 2, Age of Conan, Aion and GW chapter 4 =P I forgot about Chronicles of Spellborn. A few minutes ago i saw some trailers and music in this game is beautiful *-*
I am just waiting on the next big release. Next meaning a game that has good reviews, has a good following, and has a company with money backing it. That may be TCoS or Vanguard from what it seams on the upcoming release boards.
In the meantime, I am catching up on all the single player games I haven't been buying, because of the MMORPG habit.
1. Age of Conan Been waiting for this game since I first heard about it 2 years ago or something. It looks really innovating, I can't wait to experience the mouse combat. Oh ya, and it's going to be a mature game, where I can actually cut heads off, and won't have to deal with a bunch of little kids like in wow because their parents won't let them get it.
2. LOTR Online Just because it's LOTR.
3. WAR I most likely won't be playing WAR if AoC is what I think it will be. Honestly it looks like a WoW rehash, and I don't want to play WoW again once I leave it. I listed it because alot of my friends will probably give this a shot, so I probably would too if that is the case.
Comments
PotBS because it has an open sandbox style of gameplay. Plus its Pirates. Duh.
And Vanguard I guess. I'm gonna try it for the hell of it.
