One FFA PVP server

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
They need to make one FFA PVP server with some looting privelages when you kill a player. Allow you to message anyone you please and we're good to go.

If they don't do the above then its just a WOW clone.

    Why would it be anymore of a WoW clone becouse of that? I doubt WoW inveted the concept of factions or teams. Also if u dont like being teamed up whit specific rases there are plenty of game whit free pvp if u want that.

    And so are people whose enjoyment of a MMORPG comes from ganking low-level characters and doing anything and everything possibly to prevent other people from enjoying the game themselves. That's why we have safe zones and other things...

    One of these days I'll create a game with a very long and slow advancement system and perma-death from PvP and we'll then see how brave people really are.

    What a carebear, wimping out with silly create-an-alt perma death. Real men play on a perma-ban server, where when you die you're kicked out of the game for good. And where if your character gets looted, the person looting your character gets to clear out your bank account, forget this silly video-game-item-loss nonsense!

    Whatever! Perma-ban is for weak-willed faeries! I only play games where your acct is cancelled, your money is stolen AND they send someone to your mother's house, chain her to a radiator and beat her with a television antenna. Christ, I am so hardcore I wanna PK myself.

    Pfft, silly carebears. I only play on servers where they erase your account, take your entire families life savings, ritually sacrifice any living family members (before proceeding to dig up any dead ones, bring them back to life then burn them alive), Nuke your neighbourhood AND have you dismembered slowly over the course of two weeks.

    I'm so hardcore I pk'd myself............

    You are describing FFA gameplay that was found on Modred/Andred in DAOC.  While I really enjoyed them, most players didn't, and these servers suffered so badly from a lack of players that one was shut down before TOA was released. 

    Mythic might create a FFA Pvp server on WH, but I'd understand completely why they'd decide to pass on it this time around.

    No he isnt describing Mordred. While I agree mordred was ffa pvp...these so called hardcore guys
    (only hardcore crybabies if you ask me) want full looting with there ffa pvp.

    On mordred, you couldnt jack someones cloudsong when you killed them in pvp.

    Peronsally I dont need to have the threat of losing gear in pvp to keep it exciting. I cant quite explain the excitement involved in running out into thid solo, but its there.

    III HAATEEE these so called PvP servers because they arn't. They are just the SAME damn game with open pvp everywhere. That's not pvp, that's just a bandaid and a fake sign to lure you into the premises of PvP. Imagine if they actually took the time to create a separate quest/storyline/concept for PvP servers instead of just copy and pasting... hell they could blow DF out of the market and cater to both the PvE and PvP community.

    but nooooo, instead they just open up the newb areas to gankers and call that pvp. Give me a break.

    It looks NOTHING like WoW. It plays NOTHING like WoW. Yes, you have seen Dwarfs, and you have seen Orcs, and maybe a High Elf or two, there the similarity ends.

    Next person who calls this game a WoW clone is a twat, plain and simple.

    Every server will be a PvP server because guess what? it's a PvP game. Actually it's an RvR or "Realm Versus Realm" game but all that means is more PvP, on a bigger scale, that actually effects the world and has a point to it, rather than just grinding honour or collecting Gnome testicles or whatever.
    It's such a good idea, Bliz have actually pinched it for the "open world PvP" in Outland, but due to the mechanics of WoW it still won't be as good as WAR.

    Anyway, I only play on servers where if you die, it plays S-Club 7 music. pwn.
