Hellow all im not really a poster here but I thought I'd let you all know about
the Updates that the Japanese have had so far to give you an idear of what we will be getting.
The japanese have there own server because the game came out there a while before us
so its only fair that we wont be low level when there high.

There are the japanese updates so far:

PSU JP released:
31st AUGUST 2006
Phantasy Star Universe was released in Japan, for PS2 and PC platforms.

PSU JP Content updates:
5th OCTOBER 2006

* Opening of Moatoob
* 6 new missions added for:
o Parum
o Neudaiz
o Moatoob
* Adjustment to Mission parameters and Completion Bonuses

12th OCTOBER 2006

* Online Story Mission with Leia Martinez added (episode 2-1)
* 2 new S-Rank missions added:
o "Retake the Plant" (Linear Line)
o "The Damaged Communications Thoroughfare" (Guardians' Colony)
* Maximum level cap changed from 50 to 60
* Expert classes unlocked (7 in total)
* Photon arts level increased to 30
* 8 New Weapon Types Added:
o Double Saber
o Axe
o Twin Claw
o Single handed Claw
o Grenade Launcher
o Laser Cannon
o Crossbow
o Cards
* 2 New SUV weapons added
* New armours, weapons, and clothing/parts added.
* Partner Machinery re-initialisation Kit added
* New Technics and Photon Arts added.

19th OCTOBER 2006

* Halloween theme added: (October 19th to November 9th)
o Halloween decorations for certain areas
o Hallo Rappies
o Halloween room theme available for 5000 meseta.
* 1 new S-rank mission added:
o "Retake the Sanctuary" (Agata relics)

26th OCTOBER 2006

* Online Story Mission with Leia Martinez added (episode 2-2)
* 1 new S-rank mission added:
o Hakura Temple

TBA NOVEMBER 2006 (yet to be released)

* Online Story Mission with Leia Martinez (episode 2-3)
* 6 new S-rank missions for:
o Parum (2 missions)
o Neudaiz (2 missions)
o Moatoob (2 missions)
* New level cap
* New weapons/armours
* New Photon Arts
* New my room goods
* New clothes/parts
* New SUVs

Of corse Halloween has past now so we wont be getting that one will be getting something else
in its place.

P.S I'm gald that PSU got its own forum here I wasnt expecting it to happen.

Hey Shark, just wanted to say thanks. I know I've asked about the updates coming for this game once before. I liked PSO a lot but don't know if PSU offers enough differences or fixes the old problems to warrant a purchase and the Hunter License. I heard they don't even give you the 2-month free trial that PSO had. That's a damn shame.

Maybe they'll add the launcher's again. I went insane in PSO trying to find the Red Launcher, Red Scorpio I believe was the name. Wasn't even really worth it. Did look cool as hell though . . .

No problem mate,
If you want my honest opinion the game is a blast great in almost all areas
BUT, At the momment there just isnt that much too do, I'd give it a few months and then pick it up
as by then the weekly updates will have mounted into a nice package.

Other then that lack of content off the bat the game is great fun,
with a great community to boot. ;p
