I'm sorry, I really don't see anything great about the shot at all, touched up or not.
Environement looks bland if not completely typical of what's out there, the textures aren't impressive at all from what's shown, if they are indeed untouched SS's. The riders certainly look cool and seem to have been captured well as far the creepiness goes and I've always said the horses look particularly good in LoTRO.
Then again, if the best thing you can say about a graphics engine is that the horses look good, well... enough said IHMO.
Anyone else seem to notice a hell of alot of Bloom affect going on in nearly every single capture? I know this is a trend going now days but I don't get way, I honestly don't think it helps in the end product look whatsoever.
Important Information regarding Posting and You
I don't quite see the point of posting 'screenshots' that involve fighting for 15 minutes until the perfect shot is found and hide the UI.
In reality, you will never see this in a game, because you won't play the game like that. Where's the UI? It's not just LOTRO, most games do it, but am I supposed to buy a game based on highly detailed models that were posing for a screenshot? 90% of the people will never even see the game that way, considering the requirements needed to run a game at full speed with details like that.
They may be real, but they don't represent a genuine gameplay experience.
At the
moment you can see many pictures and videos all over the web that represent
very much what you see here and more, and with the UI included and under normal
play conditions. As mentioned the game even on lower spec machines still looks absolutely
great. Sorry, but you'll have to look elsewhere for flaws in LOTRO, because in
the graphics you won't find any.
Ummm, is it just me or in every screen is the monster pretty ginormous. Does evil only recruit tall in this game or are there some regular to small looking enemies too?
I just get the feeling that if ALL the enemies are large to much larger than your character, then anything big won't have an awe affect on you anymore...
i dunno, could be just me
