Trial version is great, but...

Within 5 minutes of playing, I got invited to join a guild, only to find that I can't join a guild on the trial version.  While I guess I can see their point, how can I really experience the game if I can't join a guild?  I can't even figure out how to get to a delegate of tradeskills!  I need in-game help!  LOL

If I was to buy the game, what package should I get?  Is there one that has everything that has come out so far?  I think I might like this game, but it's hard to tell what the future holds for me.  There are so many options, it's a little overwhelming.

Also, this might belong somewhere else, but my display of the game is a little jerky.  The mouse flickers the whole time...  any ideas?

Thanks!

"No"

sry u cant join a guild on a trial account.  the delegate of tradeskill is in the town after the trial, so u cant do that either on a trial account.  the newest expansion that is coming out will have all of the expansions up to now included for free.  it comes out on the 14th of this month.  dont know how to help u on the mouse flicker thing or the display jerky thing, sry.

the trial does give u a good idea of what this game has to offer.  but remember its only a taste.  think of it like tasting a cheese burger.  when u bite into a cheese burger, unless u have a huge mouth, ur not going to taste everything on the cheese burger in the first bite.  u might taste the onions but miss the pickles (i hate pickles).  this is both a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.  unfortunetly, the only way u can see or experience everything that EQII has to offer is to play the whole game.  as soon as ur rdy to take the dive tho, i dont believe ull b disappointed.

Hmmm weirdly enough my toon is lvl9 now and it said there was a lvl6 cap. I tried DDO (bought the game) whole 4 days before cancellation/delete/uninstall. This one though is a keeper, gonna buy when the EXP3 comes. Beautifull.

There used to be a cap on the isle, not any more though.  Ive seen a 30+ player on the isle basically an alt who was fed collection items through the bank by the his main, instant levelling.

Sounds like you need to go to nvidia.com or ati.com and download the latest drivers.  I have a feeliing that will clear up any graphic artifacts.  The trial is actually what got me playing in the first place also, but the game gets much better on the mainland.
