Your best swg moment?

Getting kinda bored and was just thinking about what was my best swg moment, was it getting jedi? nope, mastering that elite profession? nope hehheh

it was a bunch of imp players got together to kick a bunch of rebs who were doing base takedowns, my tkm/mswords with a power hammer running around slamming the rebs, killed 5 hehheh. it was my first pvp battle about 50 peeps in all. But the best part was 3 days later running into one of the rebels who told me that after the battle all they could talk about was the crazy zabrak with the powerhammer chasing them all around the field, even though there was 6 or so jedi on the field it was my char they were scared of. hehheh fun memoriesimage

Mine was mastering TK and going round knocking stormies and using unarmed hit 3. Loved that moment more than my Jedi.

Was getting mate into the game and he loved it until the CU came and he quit.

My favorite moment...hmmm. I can only narrow it down to two.

    1. One time, I took a bounty mission and went to the Theed cantina to get a mind buff. While I was getting the buff, my target walks up and starts listening to the same entertainer. I did a double take I was so shocked. It was freaking hilarious. He was standing there tapping his toe and clapping along. I backed off a ways and immediately opened fire. I think I lost the fight, though it was a good one.

    2. I was on a bounty mission to the geo cave on Yavin IV. I engaged in a one on one fight that lasted 30 minutes. It was the most epic fight I ever had...in and out of the Geo cave, and then back in. It was absolutely crazy. I went through three detonation droids in one freaking battle...insane.

soo many but the two  really sticks out would be

    (1) in aurrilla  (mainly to get frs to pump up my tkm)  me and a friend    both did the save the general quest took us all morning died alot but  fact is we did it  just us two  when we hit theed after told our friends and  no one could beleive us

said they been trying for days with full groups we had to send them screen shots  lol even then they doubted but us two did it all on our own

    (2) when my guild leader  asked me  to craft  the pvp buffs for our guild and everyone came buy with top resources and top janta blood she the guild leader asked me if the food was good enough for the buffs

soo  when we used them to defend our base  everyone was like holy shyt good freaking buffs  the best ever been buffed i have heard it before but it was true i have never crafted buffs that good felt really nice

even went as far as buying a new better crafting station  just for those buffs  was only a .7 difference lol

You want loot? Go kill some npcs, you wanna visit hades? come find ME, and dont forget to bring coins for the ferryman,

Just before the Cu our city-guild had enough people online at the same time we could start hitting up the higher end content. So 1 night we go out to the spider cave on dath. we got down there and heres the boss all 350k Ham and near total resists. Right, so we have 1 BH with a LLc and hes getting aggroed and sent to the cloner and a few others go with him. So im like screw this everyone out set up a camp and wait for the cloners il take care of her" There like wtf you gonna do and im like il just kite her out just stand back il pull her out  of the cave and out of our lives. There like umm ok goodluck.

Well i get back down there and after looking her over again im wondering if i can really pull this off./shrug only one way to find out i get a bleed on her and here she comes right after me out the cave. At this point im in a pretty bad way. Fortunatley our TKm  jumps in and gets incapped but buys me time for some healing. Another bleed and im off over hill and dale running south 100m 200m 500m ok about time to dump this  boss and get back to the cave wtf she wont lose aggro 700m 900m 1000m then up ahead my salvation 2 Singing mountain clan dragoons  <i  was good friends with them hehe  i ran back to that cave with my head held high.

I posted before about soloing Jabba's Cook's meat monster over 2000m from the back of a Bol with a weak cdef DOT pistol and killing  him at jabbas front door.

And last but not least i was doing one of the flora of alderan missions the one to guard  a base- factory with some NPCs and 3 sucessive waves of  opposite faction npcs attack. I was a rebel wookie so they was stormie  so  i  take the first 2 waves but the third wave wipes out my reb npcs so im like im  not gonna die and lose  the mission  so i take off running through the  woods of endor with 3 or4 stormies in hot pursuit of me and my pet graul behind me  to run a few hundred meters and look up and see more stormies in front of me with a AT-ST im like "OH man im toast"

     WOW what an adventure.....

Mine was almost each and every day, logging in and "becoming" my character.  I'd play for hours on end.  I found the sandbox play even more fun than the combat...owning my own shops, making armor and weapons for people, being mayor and building a huge city on what was once a barren desert land, and being a guild leader for a hundred other players.

All of that changed one November day.  I haven't had that feeling since then.

Probably the day I was returning from a BH mission with my master BH/master carbineer. I saw a a friend with three others, he was a wookie BH that I'd hunted with before. He asked me to join the group as they were chasing a rather powerfull jedi.

The 5 of us chased this one jedi all over the planet (correllia I think), and finally cornered him in a building. I think it was a guild hall or something, but it had a roof. I remember we carefully ascended to the courtyard on the roof to see the Jedi sitting there meditating, as if he was waiting for us. The jedi lept up and we all fought, we killed him of course. I with my mind poison Carbine my wookie friend (forgotten his name now) with his Uber T-21 and the others held him down with assorted melee weaponry.

The corpse wasn't even cold before his friends arrived to save his butt, but they weren't jedi, padawans at the most. Seeing a group of 5 badass BH exit the building they decided to "let us go", we were chomping at the bit for more blood but they ran. We then left ASAP to the clone center but the jedi filth had gotten out before we arrived, oh well can't have people at the clone center everytime and he was abit too powerful to split the group up.

Those days have gone now and will never comeback again, one reason I'm so bitter.

    Great stories!

Mine has to be when I had just mastered CM, without really understanding it all. I went to the imperial prison on Darth, all alone, to get some more xp. Then a Dark Jedi Master NPC arrives on the scene. Crap. I beginto poision him to the nines and get my stormtrooper and AT-AT buddies to do what they can (to little avail) - while I just kept on with the diesase and poison. I think he had around 450k HAM and I was so out of my depth. But I kept on, and on, and on. After about an hour the entire prision;s guard was destroyed and most of their respawns were destroyed several times over, but my mad Wookiee kept on. Then eventually, the HAM bar of the DJ was almost gone, thats where I thought I move in for the kill....

    One problem..

He was almost 100% resistant to everything apart from Kinetic damage, and I was a riflemaster. I tried to run up to him to melee attack and needless to say this was totally ineffective. He was scarpering quickly, and with dreams of loot consuming me I gave chase, hoping, preying I would think of something. Thankfully, I had a brainstorm. My bio engineered pet did kinetic! I unleashed him from my datapad and he managed, after a minute or so, to take the last couple of xp!image

I dashed in and clicked loot, and must to my amazement, I got a cloak. A poxy, cloak. Man I was pissed off. Buit had great fun in the mean time.image

Logging into SWG for the VERY first time .... I was totally amazed. Probably because I followed the game thru developement for the previous 3 1/2 years or so ...

Another time was when there was a HUGE battle of 400 players. About 200 people per side, when the rebs attacked Bestine.

Another time was when a buddy of mine took me to Dath to see my first Rancor in the wild. No vehicles .... we walked. I still remember seeing that first Rancor in the wild ... and my buddy got a pet Rancor out of it.

Another time was when I found some Rainbow Gemstone to mine. Rainbow Gem wasn't available on our server when SWG was released.

Another was when i saw the old man and completed jedi and then the trials. Phase four of the village was one big battle LOLOL.

hummm, I had soo many good ones....  One that I remember very well, was 1 time was was doing Imperial missions. Then when I was killing the rebels at the base, and Imperial Suttle came and The Troopers helped kill the rebs,  I was really impressed lol.

My favorite moment wasn't any one moment it was a series of moments. Those moments were with my guild protecting our base complex. We had a "Hexagon" of 8 bases, and the rebels on our server would constantly try to take them down. There were a series of weeks we're at any time of day you would find awesome PVP at those bases. Mine those were great times.

Also one in particular was when I was first starting I was grinding at the bases on Marksman, I think I had rifles 2 at the time. I was viciously attacked by a Plains hunter, and of course I took off as fast as I could. As soon as I got within a few seconds of the base, those friendly Stormies, came to my rescue! I thought that was the coolest thing in the world at the time, that I began to run everything into the basses.  It was fun.

    Those were my best moments.

Mine would have to be my buff house. I was a MSwords/MDoctor and I literally got tired of giving buffs all the time. I was one of the few Master Docs in my guild, and with nearly 400 in the guild, it got a little tiring of having to stop in the middle of everything to give buffs.

I had a second account and ground out Master Chef, bought a 3rd account and ground him up to MDoc/MFencer and found and perfected a macro so I could literally buff 24/7 without being there. I set up shop in New Dublin right across from Dream Dancer on the Chimaera server. Within a month I was going through over 1000 buffs a weekend, and more during the week. I must have buffed at least half the server on a constant basis. In fact, I literally had to get the devs involved because due to the amount of business I had, my cantina would literally break every few hours, until we found out there was a cap/time limit put on the entrance fees.

I took alot of pride in developing that macro, in providing a service that was greatly appreciated, and becoming a part of something I felt was greater than myself- A whole other world.

Mine was gathering all the enhancements/schematics/parts to make a DE-10 for my newly mastered Pistoleer/Bh and killing my first Jedi.

i loved looting enhancements instead of finished weapons and then hiring a weaponsmith to create the weapon for you. even liked the slicing system because that meant that most weapons were different from one another instead of exactly the same. getting a 33% damage slice on a scythe made me so happy!!

Cruising missions to get Rebel faction points and suddenly bumping into this noob who asks me a bunch of questions. Before I knew it we'd talked for 2 hours straight and became friends. This is just like the camp thing, SWG was all about socializing and communty building. In a way it was utopia, the way we'd like to behave irl and thats why we miss it so much. We want to have back what was taken from us.

    So many...

    1) First gameplay in SWG, logging into the game and just seeing the city of Mos Eisley and all the creatures that lived around it.  Died to one and logged out in fear.

    2) First roleplaying experience in SWG - Me, a small Bothan Rifleman/Scout, and a Wookiee Brawler were hunting around Correllia one day.  We became friends and later co-owned a house.  We would go shopping around the planet for the newly made furniture and hunt/camp our way to each store.  Eventually, when we had created a very nice house, I met him one day outside the house.  He was talking with a smuggler a distance away so I just decided to check if he added any new furniture.  I entered the house and it was all gone, all the bone and hide I had stored there was also gone.  I rushed outside to find out what happened and as I do, the Wookiee sends me a tell explaining that he had racked up a drug debt with a smuggler and had to make some quick money.  :)

    3) Meeting my best SWG friend - After rolling a new character on Shadowfire and being a completely poor and newbie char, I met my best friend - Rendar Locke.  He was very rich, so he took me out shopping. I got a completely awesome set of clothes, a speeder, new weapons and some armor.  He also helped me level up ranger by hangin out in my camps.  Brought me into the community of Shadowfire and got me into my first guild.  Later, after he had switched factions and I hadnt, I betrayed the guild I was in and have my friend detailed information about an attack on a base.

    4) First Brand New Server experience - Although uncompareble to the complete heaven that is a brand new GAME, my first experience on a brand new server was amazing.  I had a tailorer character who quickly met 2 other crafters in my first few mintues of gameplay.  We surveyed together, crafted together, and helped eachother out tons.  The architech of our group quickly supplied us with some of the first harvesters on our server, and we opened up our own shop together.

    5) Lastly, and probably my most enjoyable experience, was that of the New World Order. The New World Order was a group of players that had gathered on the forums to simulate the gameplay of a brand new server (on a small scale) on a old server.  The group of 20 or so divided up the classes fairly evenly and we set out on our experience. Rules were that anytihng was allowed so long as you didnt make any sort of contact with the people outside of the group.  As the groups Armorsmith, I made entire sets of armor for our group, taking no payment as long as the person helped out with the resources.  The group didn't last as long as I hoped, lasting only a couple weeks, but the experience of having ~20 closesly knitted and completely interdependant people around you at all times was simply amazing.

    I miss SWG.

god this is so hard, i don't really have any 1 significant story, except for the story of my char which spans several years >_>

i guess i would have to say it was when i first joined Pheonix Rising on shadowFire server, i was the 7th member.

this happened right after animal mounts were made, (before vehicles/citites, where there were unoffical clusters of buildings we still called towns, though none shown on maps) and i remember riding up unto the large nabooian cliff there with my friends.

That was back in... '04, i started the game as soon as it came out in '03.

The day I logged in to find my thousands of hours work had been reduced to a robe, a crystal and a buff.

I still hate SOE with a passion over a year later.
