Well, I really want to play FInal Fantasy XI, but I don't want to play it and pay 12.95 a month too...its not that I can't, it's just that I could be using that money elsewhere, ya know...is it worth it? I'll pay for it, if I know its worth it.

You know I once thought the way you do. I figured if I bought the game then I shouldn't have to pay to play it but... After playing FFXI I have only bought one other game and in the three months I have played I would have normally bought 3-4 games so for me I have actually saved money because I wasnt buying a game every two weeks, beating it and buying a new one.

Is it worth it? Hell ya its worth I can't keep off this game it has to be the most addicting game I have ever played.

PS I have played other MMOs like SWG, and DAoC even though DAoC is a close second this is by far the best game I have ever played.

the monthly fee isnt that bad. square charging extra for multiple characters was pretty gay, but the base fee is definitely manageable. if you like the game, it shouldn't be a problem.

Oh yes the charge for the extra characters as much as I hate that they do have a good reason: when it was free for extra characters people were making there other char in different countries and having then die on purpose so that that country would lose conquest points. Yes that sounds gay but people did it and after people did it people complained and this is how they fixed the problem.

Thanks, I will definitely try it out...besides...it has that 30 day free trial thing right? Ill try that and I f i dont think its worth (although highly doubtful) ill cancel my subscription...

This game is deffinatly worth a try and the mini game (tetra master) isnt to bad either
