I don't think you guys have played enough mmo's like me to base a valid opinion on whats the worst mmorpg. Granted you have answered it based on what you have played like the terms of this topic, but compared to some of the trash thats out there, Dark and Light is a glorious feat of technology.
I say the worst I played has to be Blade Mistress. The game made me woozy; barely any monsters; no tutorial; movement blows; lack of character customization; the list goes on.
In second I would have to say is Race War Kingdoms. A browser based mmo I played in it early stage when it didn't have maps or graphics, It was just drop down menus with a chat channel.
Then there was Adventure Quest, Irth Online, Planeshift, a pleathora of Browser Based games, and so many wannabe graphical MUDs that didn't achieve either that I didn't bother to remember the name of.
BTW the arguement that because the top three mmos in the world in terms of subs , are korean and that means korean mmos are popular, is as flawed an arguement to say that the home of the english language is India beeing that more people there talk english than anywhere in the world.

Worst MMO I've played would be SWG. Not so much due to actual gameplay but more due to the terrible customer support and the managment of the game in general.

EVE online was the only game i ever fell asleep playing in the first 30 minutes so it gets my vote as the most boring.
Archlord gets my vote as the worst mmorpg due to the fact their support was worse then any game I have ever played/betaed or alpha tested.
Xiah gets my vote as the worst designed and worst reworked game as after months of testing the crashes,support and glitches got progressively worse until at the end of the closed beta it was entirely unplayable by anyone with an AMD machine or nvidia graphics card.
Saga of Ryzom gets my vote for the worst game launch in history as the designers purposely decided to dump a pile of poop on the north americans and subsequently they went from a 30 shard launch to what 4 shards total these days?
Auto Assult has to be the most god awful game of the recent ones.
D&D was nothing but a dissapointment, which is quite a mistake on the franchise part becasue have they given the developers more time we would have had a much more solid game. They have a very strong brand and it's a shame that the product did not live up to it.
shadowbane, archlord, rappelz, WOW, silkroad they all suck big time .... lineage2 on the other hand is not perfect but is the best rpg around, lineage2 has the best pvp system great soundtrack.
As someone without a track record of bashing Lineage 2, I'm going to have to say Lineage 2. Of course, I didn't belong to a clan, so I didn't experience the castle seiges (which is what brought me to the game to begin with).

Bigger Company - Shadowbane I uninstalled this crap as soon as I saw my character strole onto the screen..Crap looked like it came out of the 90's.

Project Entropia is actually a really good game. They just botched it up with the RMT making game money worth way too much real money.
