I remember the first logged into swg, must have been 4 months after publish.
i remember feeling that wow this is big! were do i start. so many option's how do i become a jedi?
that guy has a big rancor following him.... and later...holo grind.
Then i was master ch/bio engineer..one day i logged it. there was this window that said
"you must respec your character" i was like what?.."yes i was not a forum troll..i had no idea!"
everthing i worked for in 3 years was gone in 10 minutes!
now i left out a ton of good experiences. this post would be way to long...
If a player started swg in the nge, but really knew about pre cu..this "i think" is how it would go.
master = take a guess
noob = new player
noob logs in after tutroial.....................................
noob: wow this is big, what do i do
a window opens up
master: i am here to guide you through..
noob: ok, what do i do?
master: first take theses quest's it will lead you to become a master.
noob: but i wanted to look around a bit, "master cuts him off"
master: just listen to me! do my quests, i have every thing planed for you..
along the way you will get a speeder, and several iconic items
noob: well ok, can i get some modded clothes?, a guy left the game, and gave me these skill tapes. he said i would have to find a taylor to put the tapes in the cloths, then he went "lol"
master: you dont need them tapes, i will provide you with moded cloths and armer. now just do the quests.
noob: well ok
Now the noob reaches lvl 20......................
noob: i was in a cave today, i seen several canisters, i opened them but never found anything inside
master: were still looking for iconic things to put inside them..
noob: i dont want to be a smuggler no more..
master: i have setup just for you, a way to become anything you want.
noob: cool, i want to be a creatuer handler!
master: no, i took that away! it was not iconic enough.
noob: a gardener?
master: yes were working on that, it's very iconic. uncle owen was one. how about jedi?
noob: well ok, will you give me pearls and crystals and a saber?
master: yes you will have them and more. here..
noob: cool, now i got a glow stick, this is sweet..
master: no sugar is sweet, and thats a light saber.
noob is now at level 55............
noob: this saber dont hit very hard.
master: you will need to kill kryants to get better pearls
noob: there level 90 i cant kill them
master: just snare one, then use a gun!
noob: ok, someone said i should see a doctor and get a buff
master: there are no more doctors, they were not starwarsy enough. here take this crystal, it will give you a buff
noob: this buff crystal dont last long...can i sell it or trade it?
master: no
master: were are you noob:
noob: im in the cantina
master: you should be finishing your quests.
noob: but im talking to this girl in the cantina, she is hwt!
master: what is here name?
noob: hwtbabe
master: that is not a girl. she is a guy!
noob: how do you know?
master: i know all, and i have the account list.
noob: ok, im trying to finish this quest, but the npc wont let me talk to him.
master: just wait there, i will fix it for you!
one year later.......
master: i have fixed it for you.
noob: thats ok, im level 90 now! but i dont want to be a jedi no more. i want to be a medic
master ok, but it will cost you 5 million credits
