The Odyssey Online

This game has been around for ages.  I started playing it when I was like 14 so about 9 years ago.  I had come and gone many times since and I have always found it fun for its sheer simplicity.  Small community, excellent PK system and other then that 7 out of 10 people will never download it, the other 3 will and maybe 1 in 10 who install the game will actually play it longer then 48 hours.  Nevertheless, I am hopelessly addicted to this game so check it out at http://www.odysseyclassic.com

 

Battlecity Online

This is actually a reincarnation of a game that was free to play and got sold to a company who started charging for it and so it died out (known as the e-on era).  I also started playing this one a longtime ago, probably 8 or 9 years ago so its been around forever.  I started playing this before Tanarus even came out (ya, THAT long ago) or even 10-six if anyone even remembers that game.   Anyways, the whole point is to either be a mayor or a commando underneath a mayor.  If you are the mayor, you have to build a city and defend it from enemy commandos.  If you are a commando, you have to grab the orb and drop it on the city center of an enemies city for points.  The bigger the city, the bigger the points, the more points you get, the higher you rank goes!  Super fun, excellent strategy, free-to-play, lots of tournaments held, just ignore the at-times-childish community and grab 3 of your buddies and kick some butt!   This one is at http://www.battlecity.net
