Last xmas I got ToD from my girlfriend. I'm a long time AC lover, played pre-DM and bought the DM expansion and played for a little bit. All in all, I played AC for about 3 yrs. It was my first MMO and I've had amazing memories from that game. When I got ToD, i forgot all my passwords and stuff so I started from scratch. I joined numerous new guilds trying to find something that still involved the GAME. EVERYTHING was bots. Go to this wasp dungeon til you're lvl 50, then at 50 fight some new zombies that don't pertain to any part of the story until you're lvl 100...etc...its ALL grind and no quests now. Does ANYONE play the game as it's meant to be played or is it just too far gone from that now? I'd love to resub again if I could find some people to actually quest with...If that doesn't exist anymore is there any newer game that is somewhat similar that still has a decent economy?
Lastly, I'm figuring maybe I'm not finding people to quest with because I'm only like lvl 70 and now the lvl cap is 270 or whatever...so is it just that theres people that quest, but just not at the lvl i'm at. or is it that people just don't quest?

Much more active AC Community than here. Make a post like this and you could probably form a team on a new server or one you're on now. I don't play AC anymore as the ancient game code refuses to work with my DSL connection, but I'm dying to play it again. Anyways, there are plenty of people that quest still, although it's popular nowadays to just grind in EXP dungeons. Really, it's up to you how to play. It's possible to avoid Bots, and do outdoor hunting/quest if you'd like. Not gonna bother listing them as their are plentiful resources online for this stuff. Good luck!
