What mmo should i play?

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM
I just recently quit wow. Ya boring after playing it for a year.. so repetitive... i am looking for an mmo with good pvp and an actual mmo (not guildwards, no offense). Also an mmo with guild pvp or guild pve (raids). What mmo should i try out?

    you should give Lineage 2 or ArchLord a try. L2 has a trial (its on the main site of mmorpg.com) give it a try.

    I played both for a reasonable amount of time, but I currently don't play either of them.

    I started playing Everquest 2 yesterday.

    EQ2 is pretty fun and if you played WoW you shouldn't have much trouble learning it.   Wait for Echoes of Faydar to be released though since it is the latest expansion.

    For me it was because of the grind.  The game is a beautiful game, and fun.  But the grind just killed me.  While I never had any problems with bots myself, I know a lot of people that have left it use the bot issue as the reason for their departure.

    anyone else recommend any games mentioned here or any other games?

    I would mention a few, but there are none to be mentioned... L2 was great in its time, EQ2 is just gay, and so are the rest. Im banking on a couple of the games coming out next year to supress my appetite. I read a grreat idea from another thread on this issue, just dont play any mmo's til they start making good ones. Maybe they will step up their game. lol.

    what else are you looking for besides pvp and raids? most MMOs have this so its pretty hard to suggest a single one.

    are graphics important to you?

    are you more into soloing or do you like grouping/raiding more?

    alot of big titles are coming out soon, are you willing to wait, or are you looking for something thats out now.

    what other stuff makes you want to play an mmo?
