I'm pretty sure it's the usual type in your cc number...but they won't charge it until after the trial is over or you cancel the subscription.

I believe you do have to put a CC# in, but they won't charge it, even after the 7 Day Trial is over. Also, you will still need to purchase the full version of the game to play after the 7 Day Trial. The game is still in Beta if you ask me. That game has a lot of serious issue, but AE has put in a patch to help get rid of some of the lag. Also.. the first adult dragon has finally materialize on the test server. AE is suppose to be throwing the switch for adult dragons on the Live server in the next couple of weeks, but we'll see.

Yes, you need to enter a CC...pretty standard 7-day trial routine.

Just be careful with trying thier 7-day trial. Quite a few people mentioned having problems canceling thier account before the 7 days were up as the 3rd party billing service didn't have any record of thier account. I'm not certain if this problem has been corrected but just be aware it has been an issue and you may want to see if people are still having a problem with this.

Never give out a CC # to any company, especially ONE THATS GAME SUCKS AND IS FAILING!!! That has a *WARNING* all over it.

When I tried to cancle my account, their website said just let your 7 days run out, they don't save your credit card until you choose to upgrade your account.

Finwe, the game isn't failing. David Bowman has repeatedly stated in developer chats that their current revenue stream is growing, and even at current levels it will safely allow them years of development. Here is his most recent quote, in response to a question (as posted on Tazoon's forums:

<[MC]Darkendcrusader> <[Expanse]Raugainon> The last MMORPG I participated in has gone under. How stable is AE, and how long do they anticipate Horizons will last? How far can the game engine go in theory?
<David_Bowman> Artifact Entertainment is more stable than ever. We have a consistently increasing user base and see no reason we won't be here many, many years from now. We intend to grow Horizons and maintain it as our core high-fantasy product. The client and server will continue to evolve without any reason to limit the future of the client. We already have years of plans for both the game and the technology.

Look at Anarchy Online if you want to understand how that can work in the marketplace. That game hit the market in a horrid state, had frightful attrition, and yet survived to be a top-quality game with numerous expansions. I was there at Anarchy Online's release, and there at Horizons' release...Horizons was a superior product at release compared to Anarchy Online, both in quality and substance. If AO can make it, HZ will make it.

I enjoyed playing Horizons for about a month, but after I got past the beginning levels, there is nothing to do.  Maybe I will try it out later when they add some decent high level content.  The game has pretty good potential, even though the graphics aren't incredible, because of the cool gameplay options.  Just add the high end content, and I will be back in there image

    I think that's a very good idea.
