Spyware Problems

Ok, Im currently at a friends house right now, and he has one of the worst spyware problems I've ever experienced.  So far, all I have concluded it is something called "Clicksaver:

I've done everything I could think of, I've deleted it off the Registry, I've ran Ad-Aware, Spybot, and a couple other Adaware programs.  I am completely stumped

I also done a search on google for it and it gave me a link to a download, but it didnt fix it either.  Any suggestions?

    I'm sure you ran a virus scan - then defraged - then ran the adaware program?

    Doing so in this order usually will clean up everything.

    If this doesnt work - try using a regestry cleaner. Sorry I don't have links - on the way out the door for work.

    when i saw the title of your thread , i was gonna tell you to run ad adware

    but i see that would not help

    worst comes to worst you could format the driveimage

    ah... the answer to all of life's problems-format the hard drive... you're gf leaves you-format the drive. car breaks down-format the drive. computer beats you in a game of chess-format the drive. muahahaha!

    Anyway, really, adaware, norton antivirus, and disk defrag. I recently installed a new operating system and need to get adaware... Armor2net (I think) is a decent program for stopping popups among other things but that doesn't have any relevance, nor does half of my post. image

    Hmm...Adaware and Spybot are 2 of the best ones.  Try Webroot Spy Sweeper....that is another top one that removes a ton of stuff.  Other than that, I have no clue right now.

    I'm not trying to be cute or rude here but there is a 3rd party program called Clicksaver for Anarchy Online...  it's not spyware that I'm aware of.
