I've talked to my children about it, and I'm getting them a few things, but we're donating most of what we'd spend on Christmas on charity. This holiday is about giving, not what you're going to get.
Seriously, 10 years from now, what will you think about more? That console that you played for a few months, or that family that you made smile and brightened up their holidays?

I hear the upfront costs aren't too terrible (more time than anything), but the back end payments are killers.
As for me:
Last year me and the wife bought a new bed...yeah real exciting (although it has been put to good use), this year we are looking at another joint gift. We just can not afford to spend a bunch of money on eachother, especially after we had to pay for the wedding. That is another reason I am happy I am not receive what Dekron is, at least this year.
