Zoids MMORPG

I dun know how many zoids fans are out there .. but i tink most will agree that if there is an mmorpg for zoids ... we will surely play it.

Lets take for example auto assault online but in zoids form.

- Meaning, there will be 3 or 4 fractions with different form-type. Each will start out with a small amount of cash,  and a starter zoid which players can customise its outlook from the start.

- Starts out as PvE and there will be other zones where all fractions can venture ... so PvE and PvP ...

- players can get loot from kills and enviroments also ... same as auto assault ...

- player can craft custom zoids and special and rare ones ...

- no death loss ... so player can get back into the action again without worries ..

- players can take to the air land or seas for this whole exploration and adventure ..

- players can form fellowships and eventually built base in which they must defend agains other players.

- players can also recurit and train wingman to man other gun turrents on bigger zoids ....

well ... i can tink of a lot of other features ... but then hard to get a company to make it .. cos they dun expect much revenue to this title. ...

cheers

Wow, just wow. I remember getting my first "Zoid" back when I was a kid maybe 10 or 12 years old.. and that's been over 20 years ago now. Hehe. I got a couple of them for Christmas I believe and had a lotta fun putting them together then turning them on and watching them walk awkwardly across the floor. Hehe.

If done right, a Zoids mmorpg might be a great and fun game. But "Zoids" was never as popular as some other boy toys. For example, I would think that a "Transformer mmorpg" that was kinda like a mech-warrior game online might do a lot better, or atleast get a lot more attention, as I would believe that the Transformers were always about 1000 times more popular then "Zoids". Heh.

But for your sake, I hope that someone makes a "Zoids" game for you.. even if only you and 13 other players ever actually subscribe to it. lol.

I got to thinking about this one.

When I looked at the topic I said "eh".  But when you get to thinking about it, it sounds cool.  I mean zoids are mechs, ussually completely customizable with guns and such.  If you took that auto assault feel and turned it into that I think it would be really cool.  Im sure it wouldnt be the hardest MMO to make in history but it does sound neat.  Having your own zoid and loading it out with the best weapons and whatnot.  I think thats a good idea, but I dont think anyone would actually do it who has the money.

Centurions MMORPG > Zoids MMORPG IMO.  Or how about Exo Squad, heh.

What greater tribute to free will than the power to question the highest of authority? What greater display of loyalty than blind faith? What greater gift than free will? What greater love than loyalty?

Damn! Centurions was pretty much the best cartoon show ever. I would play that game without thinking twice.

Centurions sounds familer but Zoids had three full shows. Plus alot of backround stuff. I would play a MMO of Zoids. Gundam woulld be good too.

    Modjoe86- Gambling is a sin.
    Laserwolf- Only if you lose.

Gundam doesn't really fit into the MMO genre; they're war machines, deployed from flying aircraft carriers. There'd be no quests, just periodic military missions. Even if you deserted, there wouldn't really be anything to do except participate in the same PVP battles you wouldhave otherwise... except you'd get shot at by both Zeon and the Federation. I could definately see a Battlefield-style online FPS, though.
