Thats a stupid comparison. 6 billion people ... tell me, how many of those even on a computer? Its like saying 6 billion people dont like to eat "parketoma"... even though they never heard of what "parketoma" looks like. If you want to be reasonable and pretend to be intelligent (like I pretend to be), then you will add up the player population of most popular MMORPGs, divide that by the number of MMORPGs, and there, you got an average MMORPG population. Now compare that to 7 mil and see if WoW is the more popular game or not.

Though i think you need to try a little harder at being intelligent...cause my whole point is that you can't simply say something's great because it's popular - advertising has a lot to do with it. McDonalds is popular, Michael Jackson is popular, hell even Britney Spears was popular - does that mean they are automatically "great" and anyone who thinks they are overated is wrong? F**** no.
And just because there is 7 million people "claimed" to be in a game, doesn't mean that they rate the game high at all! Just look at the highest ranked MMORPG's on this site rating system, WOW isn't even in the top 6!
And also, if someone thinks a game is overated, then it IS overated to them. Comprende?
