Hello again everybody!
I have a vision again. I'd like to share with you. Do you think that you could make a good mmorpg where players could suggest events or even create events? An why do those NPCs standing with a "!" on their head can give out quests that yield exp. Why not players too? Maybe one or two qs a day. Lets say an alchemist need item x to create item y and he would recruit a player to find 10 of these and they'd agree on a price on delivery. when the guy delivers them he'd get exp just like from qs depending on the "item level". Also guilds should be able to create content for their own players (esp. attacks by NPCs to their guild hall etc.).
The first comment will be: "the exp farmers would surely exploit this system" Well, to hell with the exp farmers, I just don't care. They wouldn't ruin the game experience for me (gold farmers are the ones).
So I chalenge you not to say that I'm a "freakin' idiot with no sense of how far expoiters go". I chalenge you to think of ways that players could create content in your opinion. Roleplaying should always be a two way process. After saying one good idea, you can call me a moron, right
.
