Statement on igg.com Domain Name Hijacking

All IGG.com registered members and Myth War Online players, we are sorry to tell you that these days our official websites (including www.igg.com, mythwar.igg.com and voyage.igg.com) have been attacked by criminals and the domain name have been stolen.

For the sake of the safety of the hundreds and thousands of registered players, we now make an instant readjustment to modify the domain names of Myth War Online and Voyage Century Online into:

Myth War Online: www.mythwaronline.com

Voyage Century Online: www.voyagecenturyonline.com

And our official forum will be at http://74.52.138.66/forum.igg.com/.

Before we retrieve the domain name and announce the assumption, please use the addresses above to visit the relevant websites.

The property right of www.igg.com belongs to IGG.com we’ve already contacted with the domain name provider and launched the lawsuit, we believe justice will finally win, and the criminals will also get their pay.

Let’s condemn the dirty behavior together. This is filthy internet terrorism which tramples the basic value and fairness of internet. It is a must for us to work together to build up an equal, realistic and free internet common sense.

The essence of Internet is technology, and it should be used to bring us advancement, not disorder. We appeal and also believe that justice will give us a consummate answer.

    That's really strange.
I can't open Voyage Century's page with script blocker.

After doing some research, it looks like the domain igg.com expired yesterday and then was either renewed by IGG or was renewed by the registrar enom.com for a period of 10 years. Right now it is using enom.com's custom nameservers and doesn't point anywhere. I don't think your domain was highjacked, I just think you need to contact your registrar and have them correct the nameservers.

Also, if the domain was transferred to another person/group, it would have needed to be approved by the administrative contact. All transfers need to be approved as well they now need to provide an EPP code for transfers.
