General: Call For Writers!

It's that time again. As you may have noticed, MMORPG.com has much more opinion on its pages now'a'days. We're looking for some fresh blood to help represent all sides of various issues. While the pay is not great - strictly bonus driven save specific circumstances - the venue is. We provide writers with a chance to showcase their written talents on the biggest MMORPG site around.

• Staff Writer: Writers contribute opinion pieces on a range of MMO and gaming related topics to the site on strict deadlines. Depending on your time availability, this can expand into game reviews, previews, interviews, regular columns and other forms of written content. Other perks include access to betas as available, access to games you cover for the site and - for the best among you - the possibility to travel and report on the MMO genre.

If you're interested in the above position, please email a 750 to 1000 word editorial on a topic of your own choosing to lepidus@mmorpg.com. Please place "MMORPG.com Writer Tryout" as the subject line of your email.

  Damn this contest reminded me how hard writing can be.  All I managed was a sentence and I got bored. Big ups to the writers on this site LOL

I remember the last time MMORPG.com needed writers. Lepidus got the part that time if I'm correct. I want to try out for this. Is there a due date for it?

We recruit new writers every couple months. When I joined it was as the editor, which is an altogether different job

As to due dates, not really, but if it takes you two months to answer, then it doesn't leave me great confidence in your ability to hit deadlines.

We recruit new writers every couple months. When I joined it was as the editor, which is an altogether different job

As to due dates, not really, but if it takes you two months to answer, then it doesn't leave me great confidence in your ability to hit deadlines.

No one wants to write about things they do not want to, especially without good pay, so usually you pick your own assignments. We make sure everything is covered by having a lot of writers

I sent you a few articles, and would like to thank you ahead of time if you read them! lol...I write all sorts of stuff so if you would like me to send something other then what I did just let me know!

My blog is mainly about game design and mmo's so this is right up my alley.

don't know if my writing is worth anything though hehe.
