what should i get?

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM

should i get EQ2? or liniage 2 i bin hearing so much about about both.

  • must be fantasy no si fi junk
  • extensive charecter customiaztion is a must.
  • GOOD COMMUNITY(most important) (65k+ active players)
  • ROLEPLAYING! Jeeze peeps you go to a ROLEPLAYING server to ROLEPLAY!
  • i like  big battles. RvR kinda. (i tried DAoC)

these are my top five requierments now i will list the games i am playing/played

  • runescape(played)
  • WoW(playing)
  • maplestory(playing)
  • guild wars(played)
  • DAoC(Played)
  • STG(played)
  • DDO(played)
  • secondlife(played)

    I recommend Everquest 2. Lineage 2 doesn't have what your looking for.

    Ok, first of all, there are very few good communities left, nor are there many remotely decent roleplaying groups. There used to be plenty of both, but recent years have seen their decline (some blame WOW for bringing in immature players, I for one remain sceptical on that point) Both groups tend to exist in the niche games, in other words around or below your 65K subs minimum

    The above two additionally do not coexist with RvR in any of the released games to the best of my knowledge

    true character customization is also a rare commodity

    DOH! LOL Truely if a dev team took all the most important features of the best mmorpg's ever, there would be over 7mil ppl playing less than a year. Not to mention the fact that psycologists would name the new sickness after it. it would likely take the place of insomnia.

    I would agree with this except that you mentioned big battles.  An EQ2 PvP server can have some big battles, but I think Lineage 2 is a bit better from what I have heard.

    So go with EQ2 unless that one crition is really important.

    i'll go for EQ2...one of the better MMORPG's out there at the moment.
