the City of heros beta contest said the drawing was going to happen on midnight the 15th. thats still 11 and a half hours away WTF is going on here dont you people know how to read a clock. all those people that got the e-mail and didn't know you guys ment midnight of the 14th should be really frickin pissed.imageimageimageimage

    i specificaly remember the contest saying EST time thats east coast united sates. unless you guys ment some wacked out european est time. you really should specify.

    March 15th at 12am Eastern Standard Time is the night of the 14th and morning of the 15th. You just have to learn how a clock works.

    Oh dear, someone doesn't no how the time works.  Its an understandable mistake though and some still get confused by it.

    The day changes at Midnight, so at Midnight on the night of the 14th it actually becomes the 15th, therefore the drawing was held at Midnight on the 15th, just as it said it would be. Also just like ever contest ever has been in the past. Except the really big ones (the 500 and soon the 1000 beta acct ones) cause those invilve lots more work in sending out emails and such so those get started a little early.

    It is a bit confusing, although technically speaking midnight is the first moment of the new day (by most standards).  Because of this though I have 2 notes:

    1) After the CoH contest we now hold drawings at 9PM EST.  Examples of this are the Ryzom beta contest and the Risk Your Life contest.

    2) We don't feel too bad about this because we had a countdown timer on the home page above the contest that said x days, x hours, x minutes until drawing...so it should have been easy to know when it was happening.

    maybe you guys should take a moment and look at the upper right hand corner of the browser. Oh my...what could that be?  A clock?  Umm also 12:00am midnight the 14th was last night.  Midnight tonite will be midnight the 15th.  Maybe you guys shouldn't be entering contests if you can't even learn to tell time.

    12 am is the start of the next day...

    I think they teach reading clocks in the 1st grade...
