    If I made a mistake about this - I'm truely sorry. The site looked completely different last time I went there. I clicked on my normal "www.blizzard.com/wow" link and was directed there, it has server status, players online, ect...ect.. I do not recall it being this way last time I was at www.worldofwarcraft.com

    Again, if I made a mistake lock and delete the thread, I wasn't trying to be funny, or cause any commotion.

    At first I didn't believe it and though it just was a fan site but after looking at it, it seems to be legit. There is the copyrighted Blizzard symbol on the page and the post is by Katricia, also the support page has their phone numbers and emails. Also, I would assume that Blizzard was smart enough to purchase the address http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/ . I'm pretty sure it is a real site, which is definently a good thing because it means the Beta is getting closer.

    it is real, just that some ISP's have not DNS'ed hte new site address yet...so if you goto the ip address you will see the real site.

    http://12.129.232.213 lots of new info, so much news..very nice and beta drawing close.

    I like the new layout, still links back to the main site for most of the information though.

    Well, that's what my original post said - but was shot down. And an e-mail to MMORPG.com was shot down. So I assumed I was wrong.

    Yes, it's new and Gfraizer was actually commenting on it as he made a few changes/uploads to a few pages on that beta site. Basically I think they're in their setting up thier servers for the start of beta which usually takes a few days as it's somewhat common knowledge now that the alpha is over.

    www.worldofwarcraft.com now shows the servers as being "UP" and 2 people are on them :)

    Now the world server says 32 on. Also GF said that they were all the Blizzard testers on.

    I was just checking the site and the box that shows 'players online' said 'everyone except you'. :(

    MHein just changed it back to 0. image I thought it was great... Shows that they actually have a sense of humor unlike a number of game developers.
