i think it looks really good , adds some of what eve doesnt have , nice planet landing and full movement control of the ship. also taking people in your ship. you still cant walk around inside the ship and planets as a human figure , but its already good adds compared to eve. what it lacks a lot imo is dev power , only a few people are working on it , this means it will take ages to finish and not much suport when it comes out , etc etc.
Sometimes I just have to hang my head in shame at some members of the MMO community. Here's a small team of developers at Infinity trying to do something innovative, something different--you know, like we all wish other companies would do--and yet because they are attempting something new some of you can't help but deride them, insult their efforts, or ridicule them. Honestly, how do you live with yourselves? Do you see the hypocricy?
I for one applaud Infinity for trying something, for taking initiative and trying to make a difference in this hobby that we love. Infinity!

I loved the Serenity movie, despite it's B Movie acting and horrible plot holes. Overall it was a pretty good movie and while I usually flame the Serenity/Firefly MMO threads, I definitally agree with them from what I've seen from the movie... there are just too many!
You should honestly watch it sometime. You could buy it off torrentspy :P I promise you'll be hooked within the first 2-3 episodes.
