What games have ONLY crafted items and armor?

silkakcsilkakc Member UncommonPosts: 381
Hi,
My daughter is playing a free online game called Goonzu and is loving it because it has only crafted items and armor thusfar in the game. She is having a  blast getting incredibly rich LOL!
And that got me wondering- are there any pay to play MMO's like that? That ONLY have crafted armor and weps- no loot drops or raid drops.

Nope none.  Absolutely none.  Except A Tale in the Desert and Second Life.  Still I doubt your daughter will like either, or you would approve of your daughter playing either.  There is Ragnarok Online 2 coming up.  Its predecessor had a rewarding crafting system were the crafted items where the best in the game.  So it should be something she would be interested in.

Ryzom. Only weapon/armor given without crafting are from quest on noob island. Everything on mainland is crafted.

and wurmonline....  though it takes way to much time.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

Eve is not soely crafted.  Only certain things are PC-made only.  Many things are also generated by the game market.

    Actually
most of the stuff on the market IS player made. The only things that
are not are BPO's, named modules and skill books. Most things are
    manufactured and sold by players.

Oh no, RV does have all crafted items.

I simply laughed because, lets face it, what are you crafting? A stick and some underwear to glitch at people with?

AoC's gear system is primarily based around crafting, but as another said, I doubt she would enjoy it, and I hope you don't want her playing this one either. Its mature rated, and deserving of it.

problem with HZ is that Tulga was crooked enough. Its new owner EII are outright criminals. Many many reports of people having their CC hit 5 to 10 times a month over several months in that game.

    I wouldn't touch it with a 3000 foot pole.

uo might not have only crafted items, but it's got a lot of them, high end too.  plus all sorts of modifications/colors/etc you can do with your equipment.  also, fully customizable housing.  and a plethora of non-pvp things like treasure hunting, fishing, boating, aquariums, raising/crossbreeding plants, taming tons of different beasts/dragons/unicorns/etc, making noncombat items such as furniture, clothing, etc.. plus if you don't like what your character does, unlearn the skills and learn new ones.

HUGE drawback... ancient graphics engine... which is supposed to get updated soon.

could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

Just curious about the subject of the thread: "What games have ONLY crafted items and armor?", what do you think ONLY means in that sentence?
