WOW hacks killing the game!

xpowderxxpowderx Member UncommonPosts: 2,078

I expect a large influx of WOW players over the next 3 months to play DAOC PVP. recently WOW hacks are becoming quite a bit more noticable. For pvpers that is bad. It is worse than any buff bot or bot for that matter. I rewmember back in the day Diablo II online was the shiz'e til the hacks started happening. next thing i knew is Diablo II online died hard.

This will happen to WOW. As it did with diablo II. Mods designed just to improve a players ability or make them nearly invincible. You should read up on the WOW forums just on this site. I think its funny.

DAOC FTW!!

While I'm certainly a DAOC fan atm... I do recall when Radar usage was prevalent in pvp..and it almost killed the game.  Mythic went after it with a vengence, and I'm going to assume Blizzard will do the same. (they didn't have the same financial incentive in Diablo)

I used to see speed hacks in WoW BGs a lot. They would ride past me so fast that I could not even tab to catch their names. Then people would yell because within minutes the horde would take over more than half of AV.
