I have a problem. There is jsut too many games coming out at once in 2007 that I want to play. I mean seriously look at the lineup.
1. AOC ( can't wait 2Q)
2. WOW expansion
3. Warhammer (either in beta or live game 3Q or 4Q)
5. Vangaurd saga of heroes (heard rumors 3Q)
6. 9 dragons ( omg street fighter mmo who wouldn't love it) 1Q or 2Q
7.Huxley (FPS version of mmo with cross gaming between pc and platforms i.e. 360)
This year is going to suck for me for gaming because I want it all. Unfortunatley we all know that MMO's require time to play and with this hit list who is going to have time for RL. I am eagerly looking forward to it but also cringing at the same time.

Yeah, it's gonna be a crazy year in the gaming world.
Since I make a lot of money... I'm thinking of going for all of them.
The only thing holding me back from doing that is my need for sleep, food and sex.
Thats not to mention the beta invites and testing. Also I have been thinking ps3 or xbox on top of that. My god it sucks to be 35 and a gamer lol. Got the cash, need the time. One good thing is I can convince the wife it is for my two kids lol.
Did I miss any games that I should be looking at as well?
the rumors u heard on Vanguard are 100% WRONG... Vanguard will go live no later than march 31st 2007.. So that would be first quarter of 07,,not 3q
Heres my "cant wait" list..
1) AOC
2) Warhammer Online
3) Vanguard (Finished Product)
4) 9 Dragons
I really cant wait for AOC..I think that will probably keep me very busy until Warhammer Online goes live.. Looks like I'll be playing Vanguard most likely in Feb or March first until AOC goes live..If I don't like AOC,then I'll focus fulltime on VG until this time next year for WARHAMMER! 9 Dragons is just something i wouldnt mind trying out,but I doubt I'll like it more than the other 3..

Oh right, forgot to mention I'll be needing a new computer first...

Warhammer is interesting, but I'll already be too invested in AoC...
And to all you guys talking about Vanguard: HAHAHAHA
All I'm allowed to say is IT SUCKS, and thats not something I heard from someone else, its not hard to get a beta spot either... so go ahead and try, not a lot of people play for long though

Lend a hand and break the chains of regularity you lean so closely upon
Im going to play age of conan i think, depends on if it will be as good as i think it will be... otherwise, i guess i will have to stick with WoW (although im not looking forward lvl up to 70)... But from what i have read seen and heard, Age Of Conan will rock
They are 2 very different games. Some art similarities because blizzard copied the look of Warhammer back in 1994 when they made the first warcraft game (Warhammer dates back to 1983).
I am mainly awaiting WAR (Warhammer online), but AOC looks to be fairly interesting, so maybe I'll try it out. Vanguard doesn't look appealing to me, and I've heard too many bad things from beta testers (breaking the NDA heh). I have beta'ed several other titles though, so I am keeping an open mind still, because I know how things can change drastically even during beta.
WoW / WAR - The Facts
dont it sucks..it was in my cant wait list 2 months ago..think any other shite non wasd korean mmorpg translation..i know im in beta..and before yall start shouting me about ndas there isint one for 9 dragons its been out for aeons under a diffo name in asia !
my own hit list
1.vanguard
2.warhammer
3.age of conan
and nothing else coz the rest look shite
I'm looking forward to AOC, LOTRO, and 9 Dragons.
it will be hard to choose from AOC and LOTRO I think but we'll see.
Since I left WoW, I am really jonesing for a new game. I tried EVE, CoH, EQ II and SWG. I think for me it all has to do with the initial "hook" in the game and how well polished it is. I belive that is the reason why I enjoyed DAoC and WoW so much. I am hoping that AoC or WAR can provide that for me. For AoC the combat system seems really exiting to me.
My hit list in order of what im looking forward to the most is:
1. Huxley
2. Warhammer
3. AOC
4. TCOS
------------------------------
You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith
well i dont really have an order but
AOC
Huxley
vanguard
all of these sound equally interesting (though huxley probably the most right now)
Played Wow, D and L, AOC, GW, Eve, Rift and many more insignificant games.
yes yes yes yes yes 2007 will be the year to remember once AOC comes out im getting it once its live
LOTRO for me looks to be a dissapointment (pretty hardcore LOTR fan) but from what i have seen i dont think ill be a hurry to buy it
and my curent MMOs are dieing off WoW sucked up a lot of Dark Age Of Camelots players CoH is getting dull and GW really boring now
AOC will most likly be my only MMO once it comes out
Cant wait list
AOC
GaH (Gods and Heros)
WAR
2. Warhammer Online
3. Star Trek Online
I may give Aion and Huxley a spin, not to mention Tabula Rasa by the Granddaddy of the modern MMO: Richard "Lord British" Garriott. Very possibly Gods and Heroes but I dont want anything to do with Sony whatsoever. Chronicles of Spellborn and Hero's Journey all look interesting, will give em a spin if they go to open beta.
Most of the other games are just pure trash imo. Stargate worlds looks like a joke, Vanguard, blech never been a fan of McQuaid and company so I can stay away from that. LoTRO.... meh, had it been Middle Earth Online it would be one thing, but a completely directed game following along the lines of the Fellowship.... doesnt work in single player games why would it work in an mmo form . Turbine did great with Asheron's Call, but since then their work hasnt exactly been something I found to be terribly interesting.
Of course there is the SWG Emu which may end up being my primary game

Not going to say you're wrong as it is a very true statement and was my initial reaction. However, after seeing the recent video they've released, it's looking a lot more like Dark Age of Camelot. I guess that is to be expected as it's being made by the same company but I really hope they can keep development heading in that direction.
I'm waiting on Age of Conan... can't wait, but I must. Warhammer Online is also high on my list but I'm afraid I may have a hard time putting AoC down even for a little to try it. Add Huxley into the mix and we got ourselves some trouble ><
