noob at love asking for advice...

Hello, i am not a very experinced person when it comes to dating and women... anyway, here is my situtation.
There is a very nice girl in my class and she is interested in me, we talked yesterday and she told me how she just broke up with her boy friend after 5 years. She said she is absoulty postive she will never go back to him.
I am 10 years older than her. I feel on one hand that she is easy to take advantage of becase the way she was talking to me, on the other hand, im a nice guy... I asked her if she was intrestd in older guys and then I said I didnt want to push her into anything. I feel a little funny about the age difference.
I guess she has a little time to think about the age difference and that I didnt jump on the oppourtinity right away, I will see next time I talk to her, ill ask her how she is doing and ask for her number so we can talk more.

10 years is a lot. my girlfriend used to go to this psychiatrist (she though she was crazy/depressed, which i guess technically makes her crazy?) and he was 38, married, and had 2 kids. he hit on her and asked her out and told her to break up with me, which is weird. so i dunno i'm not a fan of big age differences but if you like her and she likes you then go for it. just don't tell her that you like her. you have to play it cool for a little bit.
Age is not a big difference if it is from mid-twenties to mid-thirties on up, but if it is late teens to late twenties, there is a big difference mentally. I would say, do not be the first guy for her after the end of a 5 year relationship.
It is called a "rebound" and you might really like her, but there is a good chance that she would use you whether knowingly or not a way to get her self-confidence back and bounce to the next guy. If she is cool with it though and you are not looking for much more than someone to be with for a while, I say go for it.

Do what Jackcolt says! You are a young guy! Have fun! Experience things! Don't worry about feelings and that stuff now. Just get out there and date as many women as you can! Because one day my friend, and believe me on this one, you won't be able to date those girls without paying for it.

But seriously... Age is a key question here... If you're 10 years older than her, and you're 27 or younger, that'll get you on the sex offender list. Any younger than 35 and its still a bit creepy.

In most countries (and most states in the USA) the age of consent is 16 for heterosexual sex. But, yeah...if he is 27, whether it's illegal or not....very creepy.

Did you know that in the UK the age of consent is 16 for heterosexual sex, while homosexual sex is 18. I guess the British government wants you to have those extra two years to make REALLY certain you want to take it up the ass.
