Question about the Free Trial

Once the free trial is up, I know I automatically get billed unless I cancel, but will I get billed for the game as well? Turbine is still selling the game for $19.99, so are they really going to give free trial users the game for free if we subscribe?
I'm glad to finally see Turbine do a free trial for this game. I started gaming with DAoC over 4 years ago. I heard great things about AC on this site within the past year, but I was always afraid to buy the game, because of its age and there was no free trial. Now times have changed and there is a free trial.
Any suggestions on servers and etc. Suggestions and help from the current community can help retain free trial customers.

I played since early beta/retail on HG, stopped 6months or so ago no time to play
