Is there anyone that hates Farlan more than I???

I admit! I hate Farlan! The only person that may hate Farlan more than me may be Cholayna. But I got off relatively easy because I got my refund and they haven't bothered me since! But all I can think of is that they made massive promises and came through on none(0) percent of them...

I got out early and many didn't! Whether that was because of misinformation or believing in the overemphisized hype of the game, leave your mark here! I really, really, REALLY! want to see this game end! So I want to hear the most sad stories this misfortune of a game has produced!

So let's hear it! Who has the worst DnL story! Let's all vote!

Well, unfortunately it seems that some people are actually going back to play DnL. I will definately not be one of them, but I have noticed a pick up of traffic on the boards over there.

All I can say is it's frustrating as all heck. Besides SW:G, I've never quit a game with more disgust and hatred of being lied to.

I have to agree, not only should we hate Farlan for what they did to us, but for all the other things they have done just to the MMO genre.

Dracis, I believe the increase in activity on the DnL forums is due to the latest billing fiasco, nothing more.  There was a huge increase in posts, all negative.  Even more negative and hateful toward Farlan than this thread.  There are a core group (4 or 5 people perhaps) who attempt to make "positive" posts, quite unaware of just how pitiful they sound when they brag about features that are now working in DnL that should have been working well before release.  It's still an amusing read over there, though tainted by discust to be sure.

I know that, but actually I've found a few posts of people returning and giving the game another go. Not that are alot of them, but a few none the less.

 

I just wish Farlan was located in the US, England, or Germany or some other major Euro county so they could be prosecuted for the things they have pulled.

I wouldnt trust any "indication" of any popularity gain with this game nor the companies that run it. The ones "coming back" are probably the same old propaganda bs'ers that were there from before. I HIGHLY doubt its real.

I dont hate him either. I dislike him for his bussiness practice. people AND companies need to see beyond the image of the green buck.

I can agree with what everyone stated here thus far.



I left the game Januaray of this year.

Due to how Achemic Dream/Farlan Entertaimment was handling the beta testers

between close beta and open beta.

It seems to be great of lack of communication to deal with.

Plus they were very unprofessional during that period of time.

No telling on the numbers of close beta testers that did not

receive the chance to play SoG.



That was a red light to me concerning this game and company.

After hearing all the complaints from testers. I took the opportunity

to not put anymore time into this game

I can't say I hate them because they didn't really even get .01c from me.  I was able to get my full refund and prevent them from fraudently charging me again.



However, I do not trust them nor respect them as game "developers. "  I struggled with even calling them game developers since Pix was the one who even enabled them to release A game.
