Should I come back?

Played WoW, played Guild Wars, got bored. Should I come back and why?

    Hard to say if you should come back or not because you didn't say why you left in the first place.  Did you play CoH or CoV before and what did you play if you did?  Why did you leave the other games?

    Issue 8 is already out but it's mostly Hero content as the last 2 patches were to support Villains.

    Yep, need to know why you left, and how long ago, and what characters
    you had/what style of gameplay you have.  Then I could give you a
    better idea.  Personally I feel the game is getting better and
    better, especially with I7 and I8.

    Really? Cancelled my account months ago, but recently got to play again with a 14 day trial, I just get bored easily, it just feels like i'm doing the same thing over and over again. There needs to be more diversity in the types of missions not just new areas/textures and new villains. If I ever get back it's just for the character creator... image

    I actually think there is a lot of diversity, especially between Hero and Villains.  Safeguard missions are very different from Mayhem's as an example.

    The fasted pace combat, base design, and storyline has kept me happy for almost 2 years now.  Plus with the revamped Faultline, Heroes can get in some Arachnos bashing in.  image

    Not before the invention system is released sometime mid-2007.  The game really has not changed all that much since then.  They've added new costumes, wings, and brought some of the tech from CoV over to CoH, but it still gets boring doing the same missions in the same handful of tilesets over and over.

    I'd say don't bother.

    I reactivated my account just to have a look at the veteran awards. Played for a few days and again quickly found myself feeling that I've done all this before.

    Cancelled it again.

    Some of the new costume options are cool but there's nothing new in the game.

    Yeah i resubbed to play a new char...quit after 5 minutes, then cancelled.
