BLOOD HUNT!!!

Well how else is he gonna get stuff? And he wasnt asking for a PL he was offering. I guess he should have said "oh fair wenches and lords, I bid thee for a piece of un-needed armors and idle weapons".
If its true that when you drop a cat it lands on its feet or if you drop toast it lands butter-side down... what happens if you strap toast to a cats back and drop it?

On the roleplaying server, if he beg, he should at least do it in the game, not outside the game like now, and he should roleplay like you suggest...
This is like if I go play on the Rallos Zek server and I start complaining peoples PK me
Or he should change server, whatever, but doing this on the roleplaying server is...
This is...heresy! BLOOD HUNT! *tease*
EDIT: If SoE see anything from that server that is been sell on Ebay or online, I 100% support them sueing Ebay and all seller as it harm directly and destroy the roleplaying server. And not only a tiny little kind sueing, something very nasty to make an exemple that, folks dont sell online stuff from the Roleplaying server, period! I hardly care for a regular server, as the roleplaying is not there...but...this is not a regular server, this is a ROLEPLAYING server, such actions are to be prevented as much as possible!

I dont think thats possible, you cant sue someone for not roleplaying. Thats like sueing someone for not speaking English. Bout the only thing you could do would be ban them. Aside from that SOE cant trace anything from Ebay to a particular SOE account (unless some idiot posts their login name). I sold 2 accounts on Ebay for ALOT of money.

LOL, right you are. I meant sue and win. And I highly doubt you would win that suit. It doesnt say anywhere in the EQ tems of service agreement that if you are on a roleplay server you must roleplay at all times.

But it does say they might take legal action against anyone not respecting the 1 person per account/no selling(others fanciers words). They are free to not enforce it, but in the case of the Roleplaying server, they should enforce it with heavy dedication.
This is not about sueing someone that dont roleplay, this is about sueing folks that sell stuff from the roleplaying server.
If I dont sue someone that kick me, I still can sue anyone else that kick me and by no mean the fact I didnt sue the first kicker is gonna help any further kicker. The law say nobody have the right to kick me, but I may, at my own conveniance, choose to ignore(not approve) the benefit of the laws for any individuals or any reasons I wish and it dont mean someone else can kick me and I am entitle to use any measure or none as I desire to defend my rights. If the first kicker was a cutie and I choose to drink and enjoy the night with him/her and dont keep any harsh retaliation, I can. I can use the full force of the law to be as nasty as I wish on a 350 lbs whale that come and kick me later! Now it is not even as opiniatedly wrong as my exemple, is simply a based on the servers, and yes, they have the right(althought I doubt they will) to sue anyone selling stuff from any server, I wish in the case of the Firiona Vie server, they would enforce it as strong as possible!

True enough, but it doesnt really have anything to do with a roleplaying or non-roleplaying server, it has to do with SOE property. But I do agree with you. However, them saying they will pursue anyone who sells accounts etc, has never really stopped people from selling things. And I dont really see what the issue is anyway, where did you get your character from? Didnt you buy it from SOE for $50 plus 12.95 per month? So really its a question of not wether or not you bought the account, but from who.
PS by the way, silence = acceptance, to ignore = approval.

an easy way around auctioning off your account is by stating:
I'm not selling an Account. I'm selling my time that I had put into the game, and with that time, you'll receive (blahblahblah and yadda yadda yadda) who's lvl (whatever) etc. Plus you can add a little disclaimer stating that who ever bids on your time is in no way, shape or form, affilated with SOE or and whoever else is in part by EQ. If it happens that someone is taking legal action against you for this auction, you can easily counter sue. Just be sure you have all the information applied to the auction.
Personally, I'm against Selling or buying accounts, unless it's brand-spankin-new.

Ya Ive seen people do this, but I dont think that would hold up in court. The saved character and items are all saved on SOE's database, making it their "property". Even though you may say you arent selling anything related to SOE, or only selling the time you invested, you still are.

Well, then I'd tell the Judge that i'm felling suicidal, and it's because of EQ. Then I'd tell him to look up EQ's RL Deaths. He'll find 8 deaths related to EQ, and I'll WIN WIN WIN. It's a FACT that EQ has ruined lives, and it's a fact that is it addicting. Just like smoking! well, so okay, the FACTS are just my opinion, I just like to sound factual every now and then... and this Faces are fun too... Very addictive

But there are still those who Sue the Tabbaco companies and WIN. So, why can't SOE be sued? Answer: It can. But can it be won in America's Court? Answer: anything's possible, but the odds are against you. In other word, a percentage of a percentage. It's like Lysol kills what percent of germs? Exactly! badda Bing Badda Bang Badda Boom.
There is no hope for those who are like me. I see death, and embrace him. But I am quite optimistic

BTW...about that Sue thing... They should sue a girl called "Shanana" on Firiona Vie.
She buys accounts, caracthers, equipments and pp from other players and sell it in the bazaar and sell the PP back for real cash (to make real $ profits out of it). She own more than half of the uber stuff in the bazaar, selling everything overpriced too. (She told me herself that she's doing it)
And guess what? She's been doing that for like a few yrs? and SOE is not doing anything against her. (like if they didn;t know...my arse!!) This makes me so angry guys u have no idea how!

They should banned and sue her or some folks behaving like that on Firiona Vie, if only to have a 1 time exemple.
Why Firiona Vie server and not another? Well, they have, on this server, the players that are the most roleplaying oriented and against such behaviors, since I dont see them doing it a lot, they should at least do it where peoples will appreciate it more! Everyone on this server make a choice to roleplay more, even if they dont enforce rolelplaying, they certainly could kill the worst roleplaying killers on this server.
Anyway, me, I am to carebear to play on a server where I cant speak with others at start, hehe. So I am not really affected no matter what they ever do there. I already learn English myself, there is no way I will enjoy seeing my character learn a language, no matter how you do that, I will be angry, the character will learn to fast and I would be mean about it(not that bad hehe) or then I will find it an unjustified barrier. Now, if everyone on the server where speaking french I would not mind as badly that there are differents languages for differents characters.
Anyway, I think the best way would be if all the game options would be in the language of the race and you put 1 language of the big world per race, that way you would end up with more humans(english speakers), less elfs(french speakers maybe) and so on...considering everyone can talk english to some extend, it leave a good race to everyone(humans), now if you want to play whatever race, endure the game setting in that language and all the NPCs in that languagge and the menu as well and so on...You would need to make many humans races althought in such an exemple to give the majority of players some races options nonetheless (like barbarians speak *scottish english maybe)) hehe...yet, it would be a slippery road, it would be dangerous to offend folks to easily, I mean, who want to see their languages associated with gnomes? :P Nobody! Hehe, so an idea that will only remain an idea! Never becoming more... Unless, you vary from server to server, thereby gnomes speak a different language on each server and so on...would prolly bring many of a community where the *elfs* speak their language...that could be nice, but you need enought servers to place every language at every race hehe.
Anyway, this is only my opinion, no more!
