Free Ryzom

This has already probably been posted here, I know it was in the Ryzom section, but if not I am doing this for good measure.

As you may know, Nevrax (the company that owns Ryzom) is liquidating and is selling the rights to Ryzom, along with all of the software, etc... There is a project out there with about 70k of pledges in Euros that aims to purchase the game from Nevrax and make it free/open source. So, check it out, donate a dollar or two if you can!

open source MMOimage.  every bug will be found and abused, every unbalanced build will be abused.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

granted I would download the source on it just for the example code.  thats worth a few bucks to me.  :hugs: industry style/quality code.

Actually, if you knew anything about Ryzom, you'd know that 1 character can unlock every skill, given enough time :P

Also, fully expect someone to run a commercial quality server and work on squashing bugs.  If you look at Rubies of Eventide, you'd know that ON DONATIONS, they have 2 developers working on bugs and content all the time, with bugs taking the majority of the time.  Open source is not a bad thing when it comes to MMOs.
