There is one biological factor that would prevent a woman from fulfilling the office of the presidency - estrogen. In reference to the topic: I'd prefer a woman in office, I think she would be more immune to actions based on ego and bullshit and may be able to understand the various differences in people and the various repurcussions of the actions. Perhaps a woman may view things from a different angle than men since they, at one time, may have felt oppressed and/or treated unfairly.
Also, a woman may feel she has something to prove for the eons of forced inferiority complexes living with men, and thus might actually concentrate on doing a good job. Let's say higher motivation.

There have been some great Female Presidents and Prime Ministers over the years in the world. I think that it has little to do with the make of a women, it has more to do with the person themselves, and who they are and what they can handle and what they can do. You may think that a female president would be a bad thing, that she would not be able to do the job well, you are right some females will not be able to do the job right, but some maybe able to, we dont know, the United States has never had a female president. In other countries they have had great female leaders and some bad ones too, but it is no different then a man. In the United States for example, all the presidents have been men, but it is also a fact that the vast majority of those presidents were well frankly shitty at their job; they did a piss poor job. You can not compare women in the role of President in the United States because none have been president, so you dont really know if they would good at it or not, nor do you know if they would be any better then a man doing the job.

You are one abrasive SOB. I believe you to be completely wrong in both of your little statements.
1) "National Greatness" is completely subjective and your "Greatness" is other people's "Mediocraty" and vice versa.
2) The fact that we can discuss a women potentially becoming president shows that our nation is experienceing what is called in many circles, "growth." The nation is already in deep trouble and it has nothing to do with women. If we were a weak country and did not fight the fact that we are failing with some of our current policies then we would be in trouble. But the last elections show that America does care and it is looking to change. With change comes growth.
I would personally have no issues at all in voting for a female president. I do not vote based on party lines and I do note vote based on who has what chromosomes. If a female has a better stance on issues in my mind and I believe that she will follow through with them, then she gets my vote without question.
And two other points that I will comment on and I don't know who exactly said them:
1) Whoever said that in the case of Hillary, all decisions would be run through Bill who would then have the final say, is completely blind to the fact of how many decisions have been made by the wives of many of the past presidents. Please look into the lives of Elenor Roosevelt and Lady Bird Johnson, just to name the obvious cases.
2) Someone mentioned that there would be more assassination attempts on a female president. And you would know this from... what, past experience. The Secret Service would still do their job and do it well. I am sure the agents would be as willing to take a bullet for a male as a female, it is their job.
I am not saying that Hillary is or should be the next president as I have not listened to her much. Especially not living in NY. But I will say, a female should have just as much right as a male for the presidency.

You can not compare women in the role of President in the United States because none have been president, so you dont really know if they would good at it or not, nor do you know if they would be any better then a man doing the job.

If it came right down to it and a woman was going to run for president, it depends on the woman. If there were an American Margarette Thatcher running, yes. Condi Rice, maybe. Hillary Clinton, definitely not!
On the lighter side, If a woman became President, we wouldn't have to pay her as much.

I believe you to be completely wrong in both of your little statements.
1) "National Greatness" is completely subjective and your "Greatness" is other people's "Mediocraty" and vice versa.
2) The fact that we can discuss a women potentially becoming president shows that our nation is experienceing what is called in many circles, "growth." The nation is already in deep trouble and it has nothing to do with women. If we were a weak country and did not fight the fact that we are failing with some of our current policies then we would be in trouble. But the last elections show that America does care and it is looking to change. With change comes growth.
I would personally have no issues at all in voting for a female president. I do not vote based on party lines and I do note vote based on who has what chromosomes. If a female has a better stance on issues in my mind and I believe that she will follow through with them, then she gets my vote without question.
And two other points that I will comment on and I don't know who exactly said them:
1) Whoever said that in the case of Hillary, all decisions would be run through Bill who would then have the final say, is completely blind to the fact of how many decisions have been made by the wives of many of the past presidents. Please look into the lives of Elenor Roosevelt and Lady Bird Johnson, just to name the obvious cases.
2) Someone mentioned that there would be more assassination attempts on a female president. And you would know this from... what, past experience. The Secret Service would still do their job and do it well. I am sure the agents would be as willing to take a bullet for a male as a female, it is their job.
I am not saying that Hillary is or should be the next president as I have not listened to her much. Especially not living in NY. But I will say, a female should have just as much right as a male for the presidency.

I wasn't talking to you, nor was hate-monger implied to your posts. I was making a point to MMO_man that he can present his ideas respectfully and i don't think they'll get deleted, however, if he presented it like a hate-monger they probably will get banned.
In no way was I referring to you, nor to anybody, i was just saying what gets banned may be more on how what is being said, then what is actually being said.
I'll re-read my initial post to see where I could have been ambiguous.
